  1. You should know your content before you answer the questions. I did 5 weeks of NCSBN, the content was really long and I didn't get to finish. Most importantly answer all questions and READ ALL the rationales. If you get below 75% keep doing the questions until you get above 75%. I did the pretest twice and quizzes 2 or 3x. I did Hurst too and I watched all the videos.
  2. That's the best combo! I used it and I passed! :) Congrats!
  3. I did learningextension and it helped. Their questions are mirror images of the actual NCLEX exam.
  4. Omg!!! I followed your tips and tricks!!! And I passed the NCLEX RN! Good thing I found this and read before I took it. You're awesome, thanks for the tips and tricks!! lol And CONGRATULATIONS RN!!! :) RN for life!
  5. Congrats RN!! I recently passed with 265 questions too. I used Learning extension 5 weeks and other resources.
  6. Great!! You owe this to yourself, YOU will get that title next to your name! Yes, those notes helped. Memorize the infection control part. I think that part of the exam increased so really know them. And I also had PDA I answered chapters 1-18 I didn't do any of the case study, didn't have time. I did this 2 days before my exam. You will PASS, wish you luck! :) Smile! x
  7. Tell yourself everyday that you're going to pass the NCLEX. Don't over study the materials, take a break after 20 to 40 questions, you have to let those questions and rationales marinate in your brain. And then do questions again. I did 100-150 a day. Remember you can retake the quizzes and they will give you some new questions each time you take it. I was scoring really low on those quizzes too. I retook them until I scored above 75%. Are you aware of the 35 pages study material floating around on allnurses? The new rule shouldn't matter, if you know your content ,you will PASS this test. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!! And don't forget to pray Here's a cool video from youtube for remembering cranial nerves. [video=youtube_share;Pg0Gs53UOVQ]http://youtu.be/Pg0Gs53UOVQ
  8. I skimmed thru the content because they were too long, I went over the ones I'm weak in. Do every single quizzes on the program. I scored 60% first time on pretest 2nd time 80%. Scored between 48%-55% and 2nd time around 77-90% on the quizzes. Most important read the rationale, they're so important. You'll find some tips at the end of each content remember those, you'll see what I mean. Don't study things you already know. Do the ones that's hard to stick in your head. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. check this out! It helped me during stuDYING! Tips for Better Brain Focus and Keeping Your Mind Sharp I took a quick break from the testing area and ate mint candies. It helped with my thinking lol
  9. NCSBN's Comprehensive Online NCLEX-RN Review Class . NCSBN Learning Extension it's a program by NCSBN. It's affordable and very helpful. Their questions are mirror image of NCLEX, simple yet complicated.
  10. I just took the NCLEX today and I think I passed! I got the good pop up. I studied for 2 months. I used Hurst, learning extension 5 weeks (questions on this program is SOOO similar to the NCLEX exam), exam cram excram cd, and mosby pharmacology learning note cards. Read ALL the rationales and understand them. I also have Sauders 5th edition, but I did not read the book. I just did the questions on the CD. They have a section on the CD where they have 200 SATA questions. Those were very helpful! I hope this helps. :) You will pass!
  11. I'm scoring about the same on LaCharity and my test date is coming soon ;( I wish you well on your exam!!!
  12. Try learning extension. I'm using it right now. My first time using it and it's helping a lot. Check out their website NCSBN Learning Extension . NCLEX preparation . Continuing Education for Nurses . Nursing Faculty Education, it's affordable and easy to use. Wish you well on your next exam. :) G
  13. I will look into it - Thank you!
