  1. That's a pretty sweet deal rnNYC17. It's probably the highest salary for new grads in nyc since it's a top ranking private hospital. I knew NYP paid well but I didn't know it was that well I thought my hospital was paying decently already but now this really makes me consider whether I should start upgrading jobs.
  2. It ranges a lot from mid 60k to mid 80k depending on acuity of the facility and whether you take day or night shift. Night shift salary for a large private hospital was around 82k in 2013 last that I know of. Public hospitals may pay a little less. Long term care facilities may pay on the lower side of the range.
  3. 1. NYC (upstate NY has a completely different pay range) 2. about $40 for days, $44 for nights 3. New Grad BSN 4. Medsurg
  4. Call your board of nursing. I waited for over a month, then finally got off my butt to make a call, and the representative on the phone just casually said to me "Ok I just approved you, you should get your ATT in 24 hours." It's really supposed to be automatic, but I guess if you take the initiative, they might dig your application out from a big pile of applications. I'm frustrated that I waited so long like a dummy without calling, but still happy that the wait is now over.
  5. I'm surprised this thread is so quiet these days. I hope decisions actually come out today... Are they going to email us or will it be on the online portal?
  6. Got that same email just now =\ Looks like it's true. Late Feb it is then.
  7. My interviewer told me in secret that the date decisions are out for the BSN acceptance is 1/24 and the MSN decision will come shortly after. I sure hope this is true..
