TlcDid you find the details about vaccination taking earlier.Btw.did u get all forms with u to fill vaccine reports and tests.wn is ur orientation.I know it is lot of questions.plz let me know wn u find answers from nursing dept,kind of excited :)

KikiHfcc nursing department accepts 320 students every year.160 in the fall and 160 in the winter.First step is to get admitted in the program and take nursing as ur major.Meet with the nursing advisor at Hfcc at main campus who will direct you to the study schedule with the transcripts u have sent to them.Take it from there,finish all pre-reqs required to complete.Take the hesi exam.once it is all done meet the advisor again to get ur waitlist number.Once u r there,do the supporting courses needed for adn program while u wait for atleast 2 yrs to get accepted in to nursing.Once accepted, you will stand one day graduating :) .I am in the waitlist now.I need to wait 2 yrs.Hope I explained the process better.

Did you check with the nursing department.I think they should give a better idea to have it sooner or not.

Pardon my ignorance if i am wrong. Don't we need a licence or certificate for working as a cna. While one is trying to graduate as a ADN,is it possible to work as a cna without being CNA certified. Plz clarify this doubt.

TLC, Nursing department advisor asked me to take AH120 after A&P,so i will have easy understanding of the terminologies. So i am on to my A&P classes.i havenot taken AH120 yet. Did you take it before A&P or after.I know it does not need a prerequisite.Just to know your experience of online class with lots of memorizations of terminologies. Thanks for your reply

I live in michigan and see lot of nurisng jobs in most of the hospitals. But all jobs is demanding minimum of 1yr of hospital experience I am in the process of getting my adn degree. Can anyone tell me how does a fresh graduate nurse gain experience when all hospitals asks for 1yr experience. Please help me on this info. thanks.

I have registered to take net exam on mar'12.Is there any students who are currently on hfcc waitlist accessing this forum ,please clarify my doubts. If i pass my net exam,how long should i wait to put my name on the waitlist.Hfcc website shows 30 days after passing net exam to waitlist the name.

I am excited about the fall semester.With this i will be finishing all my pre-reqs and should talk my net to put me on waiting list. So, i am waiting to finish this semester soon and prepare for net. I wish the time flies fast so i can be there.:heartbeat

I started my pre-reqs last year and still not yet completed. If you are out of high school over 10 years, they want you to repeat every science course.That is frustrating. I am not done with pre-reqs. you know what.Even if i finish them, i should prepare and take nurse entrance and wait for 30 days after the result to waitlist my name. Omg, time is being extended for everything and everytime. Feel like i want a time machine. Even after waitlisting, there will be a long wait to get into the program. But thinking of being a RN one day,to see me as a nurse working in a hospital keeps me going. All the best.
