Gay Nurses... help!
i dont believe the gay male or female nurse for that matter should still be an issue its 2012 soon 2013. again here in sydney we are open and quite tolerant of different genders , yes we get bible bashers, politions and media, as well as soapies giving good or bad publicity. lately here in australia we are getting many american progroms which have a gay character or two or mention the topic . most of the celebrity programs have gay characters, as well as the soapies.

LPNs Often Fare Better Than Some Degree Earners
I dont think having a degree makes you a better nurse, sorry to my dear lectures, yea i do have a Bachelor degree 4 years later, however i also have studied at other istitutions not at university level and funny enough i get paid more than in my nursing degree , but again the specialty i choose is a male dominant career hence the wages reflect that too. i am starting on 120 thousand year.

Does anybody have any patient near-death experience stories?
yes many times patients have said to nursing staff, who was that lady or man standing by my bed, i wasnt scared at all , in fact they mentioned they were comforted, most off these came form cancer patients, we have had psychics and people with special powers to be that we dont understand yet due to ridicule or fear or a control from the authorities, if you like . again these gifted people often say they have seen heard spirits, ghosts in the hospitals, or wards. I have personally seen ghosts as well as my family members and friends too
- Anybody LIKE working holidays?

Thanks for taking the time...

8hr vs. 12hr work days
well as nurses we are alread very used to long hours or shift work, i believe alot of nurses would like to have the option to work 12 hr day leaving them for an extra day or two off in the week or fortnight for leasure time etc.
-
Rate of sexual harassment occurrences at a hospital?
well unfortunately both females and males staff have had verbal or potential for physical abuse, this is more apparent in emergency or psychiatric areas. or for nurses who work in the community
-
Do you remember your first day on the job?
I certainly do its was terrible and mentally and physically exhausting, its like a roller coaster ride.
