I'm sort of in the same position you are in. I'm a new RN working at a clinic from 9-5 (great hours for a single mom)....but I feel like a year from now I will not have a chance at being hired at a hospital since I wont have any acute care exp. Meanwhile, my classmates are making me jealous when I thonk about how much more marketable they will be over me.

Its funny but sad and depressing at the same time.... I just graduated last month and cant find a job. This post started in 2005 (I think) and things arent looking any better for RNs. I submit about 20 apps per day!!!!:mad: I agree that the schools are really being greedy and OVERPRODUCING nurses. I havent recieved any calls yet but I have recieved emails about not being "qualified". How can I get experience when 9/10 jobs require experience? UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......ok I've vented now back to the job search. Oh yeah and the ACLS and PALS cost money that I dont have right now.

Okay its offical the pvt worked for me and I am on the bon site as a licensed RN :dancgrp:

I took the nclexrn in alabama today and it cut off at 75. I tried the pv trick afterwards and I got the good sign:D.Hopefully when I get the results it works....
