  1. It depends on the facility and the Dr. Every situation is different. It sounds like you have time put in with this Dr and know what needed to be done.
  2. And they get all touchy when reminded!!
  3. Good luck fellow nurse. I say go for it. I work med/surg as well and I'm feeling the same stress. I do finally have a little over a year under my belt. Only thing keeping me at this particular facility is my love for what I do, my crew and my patients. I'm looking into home health myself. I think you'll regret in time in you don't go for this new gig. So jump!
  4. i thought the whole thing about the 80s comment was rude as well....but to each his own. the reason i got mine are because they mean something very special to me. i shouldnt have to explain that...no one should... and yes our bodies are going to get all saggy and junk anyways so who cares. my body is a canvas.
  5. I just graduated nursing school and i have a sleeve. i was required to were white long sleeves under my scrubs which it was pretty easy to find thick ones that were thick enough. I had a couple cool instructors who lets me slide by with out my long sleeves or lab coat on hot days....i felt bad tho when patients would look at me wierd tho so i tried not to do it often. I thought i wanted to do either psych or peds but once i got some experience i dnt think its my specialty. im leaning more towards hospice. have u figured it out yet?
