  1. Hi everyone. I know this thread is old. I am wondering, for Ontario nurses, did CNO email the license verification (their own form) to the CGFNS, and CGFNS accepted it? Thanks in advance for the response!
  2. Hi everyone, I was a silent reader in this forum. I took my CPNRE November 25th. I just got the message from the CNO today and I passed. Congratulations to everyone!
  3. Hi Budoor, Inquire from George Brown College. I just did my clinical practice and consolidation of practice from George Brown College to reinstate my safe practice. I was required to take 11 courses before I could enroll for the clinical practice and consolidation. Inform the program coordinator that you are currently taking courses from stfx, those might lessen the courses that will be required for you to take. This is the link: https://coned.georgebrown.ca/courses-and-programs/academic-pathway-for-internationally-educated-nurses-program
  4. I took the NCLEX-RN for the state of NY on May 14th and paid for the quick result on May 16th. My name and license # appeared today, May 18th, on NYSED’s website. 2 days excluding Saturday and Sunday.
  5. Hi! I took the NCLEX-RN for NY on May 14th, found out I passed through the quick result after 2 days. Today, May 18th, my name and license # are already on the NYSED website. Hope this helps!
  6. Hi there. How long did you wait for your name and license to appear on the NYSED website and after how many days/weeks did they send the documents of your registration? Thank you!
  7. Hi everyone. Where can we check the band score requirement for the UKVI IELTS (Academic) for overseas nurses? The visa for overseas nurses is Tier 2 (General) visa, B1, right? Is it 4 in all components?
  8. Hi @madhaine. This is off topic but I am wondering what MMA agency is? What does MMA stand for?
  9. Yeah jay_j! Registered on 3/29/11 just to comment on this thread... Really funny... lurkers... whatever they say, for me DON'T EVER TRUST PINOYCARE!
  10. You applied on November 2009 and will be leaving on September this year? You have waited that long? From what my batchmates have undergone, not applying from pinoycare though, they left in less than a year.
  11. I was recommending the cic.gc.ca site for people who wants to know more on how to apply for certain visas especially immigrant visas instead of opting to hire representatives which most of the time are hoaxes.
  12. Hi loriangel14, I am not referring to the Canadian Government itself but the agency-like offices here in the Philippines. They act as representatives for people who wants to apply for certain visas. It is Canadian Immigration Consultancy. They have branches all over the Philippines. And from the many feedback I've heard, they are very honest and very dependable; processes documents in a timely manner. Unlike Pinoycare who just leaves their clients unknowing and promising them that the pointing system is of no importance.
  13. Hi NataliaK! Congratulations! I am so glad I passed by your post. Just lately, for the past few days I was thinking of applying as an LPN instead of RN in NS. What agency did you consult? Is it Eduns? May we have the name of the agency? Thanks!
  14. Hi fellow Filipino Nurses! I would just like to comment on this thread. Pinoycare is no good. Some of my batch mates who applied in pinoycare were not assessed. They said that that agency just received their money and after getting their money, no feedback from the agency anymore. Also, I was mortified when they say that the point system is not needed. That is a big no no no. You may want to go to . All the information about wanting to be an immigrant is all there. If one can't reached the 67 points, which is the passing point, you really can't pursue the application. CIC I guess is the best consultancy around. I have batch mates too who are already in CA in less than a year with help from CIC. This is just my opinion. Good luck to all aspiring immigrants!
  15. Hi donRN1024! Wow! That's great news! From your news, I guess you didn't pursue nursing in CA? How did you get to apply for Belgium as a nurse?
  16. Yes. I know that. I am sorry I did not specify that if she will take the exam in NS, then so be it and be based there. And if in time she really wants to work in Ontario, she might as well undergo the process of registering for the province of Ontario. Am I correct on this? just a thought...
  17. Hi nurselen... Just a thought... Are you considering being based in Ontario? In my opinion, why not land in Ontario but take the exam in Nova Scotia... And if you've passed the CRNE and given the chance to work in Nova Scotia, why not grab it... Just a thought...
  18. This includes SK as well... I think for other provinces too. Have not checked their websites though...
  19. I just learned that effective Jan.01, 2011, the IELTS score requirements have changed. How frustrating. my overall band score is 7.5. Listening, Reading, and Speaking - 8 but Writing is 6.5. How unfortunate of me. The new Writing score requirement is already 7! wheew! Need to take the IELTS again...
  20. I think the regulatory bodies have changed the IELTS score requirements. For SRNA, if your score is 0.5 below or above the stated scores, it would be acceptable.
  21. Wow! Congrats crushbandicoot29 and thank you for the reply... Let's just pray that things will change in time... Goodluck and enjoy your time there in SK!
  22. Wow! Congrats dvsbec! Happy for you...
  23. Thank you Silverdragon for that info. Yes, I am considering SK and also NS or PEI. Was just worried that if ever I would get my eligibility, it would be difficult for me to find a job online. But I am crossing my fingers. SK or NS. Will still be contemplating about this.
  24. Hi crushbandicoot. Have found a job in SK already? Did you hire an agency or applied online by yourself?
  25. What about PEI lenjoy03? Are they accepting IENs?Or are they the same with NB?
