No learning is a waste of time. I am a 2nd degree nurse with a B.S. in Health Education and now a BSN in nursing. I am not sure how you can incorporate the two degrees in your case but I still do not consider it a waste. Hopefully another poster might offer suggestions. God forbid if you are no longer to practice as a nurse (injury, lack of employment, etc) you still have something to fall back on.

I am a BSN new nurse... passed all of my medication calc questions in nursing school.. hence I was able to graduate. Passed NCLEX-RN on the 1st try. Administered medication without calc errors. This is the 1st time I have seen a question like this. Was never given this school. I was able to answer (correctly) all of the other questions on a practice sheet without a problem.

Hello. I have a problem similar to this. I have changed the values. How do I go about approaching this calculation? Your help is appreciated. A client who weighs 98 lb is to receive Intropin at the rate of 6 mcg/kg/min. A nurse mixes 400 mg of Intropin in 500 mL of intravenous solution. how many milliliters per hour should the nurse set the infusion pump to deliver? Thank you.

Thanks "tobesmartt", Its not so much about "covering up" or concealing the hip, as I would like a bottom that fits well and comfortably.

In nursing school I had worn mandatory Landau scrubs which tend to fit poorly on me. The medium was too big and the small didn't fit right around the hip/ butt area . For those of you with a similar body type, what "brand" of scrubs do you recommend I purchase? I have a small waist and a larger hip/butt. I already have a hard time finding jeans that fit RIGHT, hopefully some one out here understands what I mean and can direct me to a descent fitting set of scrubs .
