i used nurse.com & workingnurse.com to find for jobs. these websites are very useful. i applied even though it says "experience preferred". then i got lucky!!

after almost a year of job hunting! i finally landed a job!!! i received a call from a hospital awhile ago offering me a job position on med-surg. i still can't believe it until now! lol. To those new grads like me who's having hard time looking for jobs, don't lose hope guys! there are still a lot of opportunities out there! just be patient! :) any advice to me on what to read or what to know in med-surg floor?

don't lose hope leo82! a lot of people fail NCLEX.. just do your best next time. this is not the end of the world! you can do it the second time around!

hi nurse_16! my interview was supposed to be today (3-9-11) at 8am but i was involved in a car accident . i called the sheriffs dept. & they told me that they will try to reschedule me either april or may.. BTW, sorry for this late reply, i just saw your message today... I wish you good luck in your interview!!

so i'm planning to move to GA because i can't find a job here in CA (i'm a new grad by the way). And I want to know if i can apply there even though i only have CARN license while waiting for my GA license? is it possible?! job market for new grad here in CA is so bad right now.... please help me!! thanks!

hi phi'sgf! the market of new grad nurses here in US right now is pretty bad. there's a lot of unemployed RNs.. you should have atleast 1 yr of exprnce in order for you to get a job in a hospital.. and another problem is that you're out of work for 3 years now which will make it harder for you to get in. i hope this will help you.
