Im sorry to hear that DreamGoalRn. First thing you do, is to take some time off. Then you received your evaluation, your weakness areas right? Then focus on those parts. Look back, and assess yourself, your weakness. I suggest that , take this test like it is your first time. I heard Saunders is a good resource for the content area. Saunders has diagnostic test in the cd, right? And they have a calendar where they will assess you and give you a detailed schedule. Follow the calendar. Then after the content practice questions. I do 100 questions a day, I make sure to read all rationales that same day. :) Then I bought the La Charity book, during my spare time, I try to answer La Charity book (Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment) This helped me alot. Then 1 week 2 weeks before my test I answer La Charity again. And above everything, PRAYERS. Keep praying and Keep believing, don't say "I hope I become an RN" butrather say " I will become an RN" :) Ill keep you in my prayers i hope it will help you. Go back and read old posts here in NCLEX discussion and you will find other posts that will surely help you. :) Godbless!

You are right, just take some time off then start reviewing again. I already took the test here in California and I am just waiting for my license. It took me a year because there are some problems in my papers, I graduated from Philippines. I know you will do good this time. Just keep praying. It really helped me a lot when I was taking the test. Just keep believing and don't give up. :) Keep me posted about your exam, I will pray for you. Godbless. :)

hmmm thats a good question, but to be honest La charity is way harder than the nclex exam, when I was answering La Charity for the first time I feel like crying because I get low scores like really bad, but after answering every chapter you will get used to it and you will really learn, just review the rationale at the back. La Charity helped me alot. :)

i say practice more in answering questions, you just graduated so I assume what you study in school, its still fresh, just review some important topics. :) Some say they review exam cram. :) Hope that helps. And lots of prayers. :))

hi badacid i just check the ca bon and it says that starting july 1 2010 it will be open the first second and third friday of each month.:) i took my test may 20. and saw my name on the 24.

hi, try again later , according to the first post here this is what she said "VERY IMPORTANT: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the Credit Card information page, that means you did not pass. Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick"

just wait till its say delivery successful then try the pvt. :)

I am now officially USRN. :) PVT still works in California! thank you allnurses.com for your support! and those who posts at the "random fact throwing" thank you so much, i can't name the names its alot. :) but i just want to thank this site for posting important facts.:) allnurses members really rocks! By the way thank you to that thread too, the infection control, thank you for your post! Thats the only thing i wrote on my dry board! LOL thanks guys! to those who are still waiting for their result hang in there, if it's your time God will give it to you! and the number one on my list is PRAYER! yes California do not participate in quick results, but you can check the Cali board, the PLV and check after 2 to three days sometimes longer and sometimes the mail will come first than your name to appear in their website.

I know about that too. :) I am looking at the website every day when i wake up and when i go to bed. LOL its been three days, though the update is late you noticed it? Maybe tomorrow, I will let you know my results. :)

hi debske, i also took the nclex-rn last thursday and got the good pop im from california too. There's one member here who took the test last saturday and got the cc page. I read it here, if you can go search for it, he/she is asking about the ccpage. I know the pearson vue had maintenance thing. Those who took the test May 17 or something from other state got the good pop and their state participate in quick results they got the good pop and passed, but thats from other state. Here in Cali we don't participate in quick results. I was asking the same question too, but like what I said I read a posts here that he/she took the test last saturday and got the cc page. All we need to do is wait I guess.

hi imataray, i exactly what you feel, but whatever happens I am prepared for it. I still keep praying that ease my anxiety and that keeps me going. You wont believe how much time I spend here at allnurses.com everytime i feel like discouraged i keep reading other posts to prepare myself. Just keep in mind imataray, everything happens for a reason, only God knows that reason. :) God will give it to us in His own time. :) Just keep going imataray and have faith. :)

hi countrychic, i took my nclex-rn too last may 20 here in Cali too, and tried the trick, i got a good pop till now , but I am not so convinced about it, no offense meant, but after I read some posts here saying that the trick don't work I am still nervous about it though, whatever happens I am prepared for it. :) I still want to know your results, I let you know mine too,

you know what i think? Maybe the pearson vue already knew about the trick so what they did, pass or fail, they still have the good pop. what you think guys?
