I use it every term and have rated some myself. I take the comments with a grain of salt but most seem fairly accurate.

Wow. That was not cool. The student should have known not to hand the meds out. Even if she was allowed to hand them out, we were taught that we never, under any circumstances, hand out meds that have been poured by someone else.

I own both Davis's and Mosby's. I prefer Davis's and the computer program (drug lookup) that comes with it.

I've taken other general courses at BCIT, but nothing directly related to nursing. I am taking my nursing at Douglas College and may do the specialty nursing at BCIT once I've been working as a RN for a while. Good luck!

I was going to reply to this thread and recommend something similar to that. I had that set, too, when I was a child. I loved it.

At my college we have to get a minimum of 60% in each course or we have to repeat the course. We also have to achieve a term average of 65%.

My faves were maternity, neuro, and surgical.

We're allowed to use calculators in clinical and in class, but we have been warned that we will not be able to use them when writing the CRNE.
