  1. Both my e-mails bounced!!! Sent an e-mail to [email protected] and [email protected] Is there any other way to contact them? A phone number where I can actually talk to someone? Help please!
  2. I sent them an e-mail at [email protected] today. Coz I don't have my HS diploma, that's why I was wondering.
  3. I'm planning to get a Vermont-specific CES. I graduated high school in 1999. Do I still need to submit a high school diploma to CGFNS? (I tried calling their call center number 215-3498767, but they require an applicant identification number) Would you guys know of another way I can contact CGFNS about this? Thanks in advance.
  4. I need help! I graduated high school in 1999. Do I still need to get a high school diploma for Vermont-specific CES? Coz I read lawrence01's post that if it has been more than 10 years, the requirement is waived by ICHP.
  5. CA is really my first choice, but I don't have an SSN.
  6. Is Vermont an easy state to apply to and renew one's license? I plan to work in California. I know it's not recommended to apply directly to California, so I'm looking for a state I can apply to. I saw on Vermont BON's website that they require a Vermont-specific CES. Would I have an easier time processing my VisaScreen in the future if I get a Vermont-specific CES, since they're both from CGFNS?
  7. Oops, I should rephrase my paragraph. My issue is not my stay in the US, but the urgency in which I have to go back to the Philippines in case I pass the NLE mid-February. Because if I go the US this week, I'm concerned that I may have to fly back to the Philippines as soon as the results are out. That would be a waste of airfare
  8. I have a minor dilemma. I'd like to fly to Los Angeles this January and stay there as a tourist as long as possible, so the airfare would be worth it (say, 3 months). The thing is, I took the Nursing board this November. Results are supposed to be out around February. In case I pass, am I required to fly back to Metro Manila immediately? Thanks!
  9. How have you guys been? Any luck? My friend is also in the same situation. She got very discouraged when she found out, she stopped working because of that... Hope there's still hope...
  10. Would you know of a specific country that accepts nurses with Hepa B? Coz she got discouraged when she got hepa B...one reason she quit working. I'm trying to help her by researching on possible countries where she can work as an RN. She kinda thinks there's no hope for her, so sad...
  11. My friend needs help. She's a Hepa B carrier. She passed the NLE many years ago and has 5 years experience as an RN. Then she stopped working for a few years. Is it still possible for her to migrate to another country? Would you know of any country she'll be accepted for a working/immigrant visa? Thank you.
  12. Depends on a lot of factors. Will she be studying in Metro Manila? Renting an apartment by oneself is expensive. You're looking at maybe P10,000 just for monthly rent. Better to have a roommate in my opinion. Food can cost P250 a day if she won't cook. $500 monthly max. The apartment and whether she will cook or not will be key.
  13. Every other day! I'm too lazy to log-in though. My internet connection's kinda slow.
  14. Would having a high class ranking be an advantage? How about a high board rating?
  15. It cost my friend around P9,000 (I guess it was rounded off). I talked to people who have taken the IELTS exam. None of them recommended enrolling in a review center for it. I think there are also materials on the internet that you can use to self-review. Try to talk to people in English, especially those who don't understand Tagalog. Watch English movies. Practice, practice. If enrolling in a review center gives you confidence, go for it.
