KAPLAN-NCLEX in San Francisco
LUVNURSING2008, i took KAPLAN. Like RNLola035 stated KAPLAN has good supplemental/content material, practice questions and a textbook which was not too thorough. The classroom course was fun because the instructor interacted with us and gave us immediate feedback. I did all the questions they provided online. But I didnt go over their content review and when i did the questions i sorta skipped over the questions i got right without reviewing why i got them right and why the wrong answers were wrong. I feel maybe i should of committed myself to using all the supplemental materials. And i felt l should of took the questions twice till I raised my scores. It was an alright program but maybe i should of just used what everyone else seemed to use: Saunders. For anyone who used saunders, any studying tips?

Second degree RN program
Hi leslie910, I too have a B.S. in another field, i did some research about applying into universities such as seattle university and a few in Cali --LA because they offer accelerated programs such as 2nd degree RN programs--but i felt they were a little too over my budget, so i got into a 2 year program for my Associates degree in a community college here in cali and graduated. It was cheaper and closer to home, and i plan on furthering my education after a couple years of experience as an RN. hope this help..
