Hi Can I have any information about the salary?? I am working here in USA as RN and I have experience also from Europe,but before starting the hole process I would like to know some "real"experiences regarding salary. Thanks

Hi I just want to say ..maybe is to early ....that I feel ok and safe with Davita....so far..after my first day of 'orientation"...but I have a past experience as PCT in dialysis ...so I can see a difference...I used to work for a private small(only 3 centers in Manhattan) and for a Frsesenius center in Queens.... I used to work like hell 12-16h/day ...when I wanted to stay over 12 hours... as PCT,I taught (6years ago) that never I will return in dialysis, just because of early start in the morning which was 5:15am (so I should be awake around 3am)....was infernal and I had 2 full time jobs..in the same time.... But...because I just pass my NCLEX and whithout any other experience in USA as a RN ofcourse...I decide that the most secure and fast way to get a job (specially with economical problems)is dialysis....so ...I am back but now with RN license and for the first time I am thinking that I am afraid to don't lose my license. I had a chance to get a job in Fresenius but when I visited a Davia center in Bronx I was very pleased with what I saw...and yesterday was my first day....After 6 years I was surprised to see how fast I recall the mashine system an how to put the information in the computer...and also I saw that with 12 patients we have 2LPN,2PCT and....2RN....the charge nurse who is working every day from 6 to 7.30pm and I will be covered all the time. Most like I will do meds and ofcourse because we are a team (and somehow I still fell asPCT) I will help much is possible....so far everything is look OK if not perfect...the only think that is start to bother me is the ideea of starting to reuse ...the salary is great for my begining 34/h and all the benefits...the medical insurance is look high but I can stay with my husband's one....so I will keep you posted.Good luck to everyone

I PASSED ...so unofficial result after EXACTLY 48hours AFTER I finished the examination .. my screen turned gray so..I don't think that is really relevant. Good luck everyone and Thank God I will have a nice Easter . The trick really worked:yeah:

Hi yellowroseoftexas you got the results after 48h of the beggining of exam or after 48h you finished the exam? I am still trying to find out my result but nothing yet...

Wher you getting blocked?My mesage is :The candidate currently has an open registretion for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time.."I checked if I have another page open but not..I have also applyied for LPN and for that one I can pay....what shoul I hope?

Because I couldn't take the highest anxiety level anymore I just schedule the exam for today just to make sure I will not postpone again and realizying that if I will wait one more weak I am gona get worse and I will fail. The comp shut off at 75Q...It should be a good thing b/c after so many hours of studying...I should be Ok....but ...WHO KNOWS? I tryied the Pearson trick but doesn't let me go to pay for another exam b/c is saying that I have another open sesion...and I don't... Now....12SATA ,5-7 cognitive level ,the rest teaching,delegating and ofcourse a lot of prioritization... We 'll see

Spiffy I was talking about pearson vue trick...but I think you are not so familiar with the topics here.. If you are trying to pay (in the same day with examination)for another examination...people said that they are not allowing you to pay...so most likley you passed...some of folks tryied and worked... The tricks that you are talking about.....I hope will work for me too ...soon... Congrats...I hope I will feel the same one of those days....

Thnks Luv...how many hours a day and since when? 100q/day? I tryed Saunders in the beggining but is look so hard...so many information... so I decide to stay Only with Kaplan...so far everything looks good but i have to see the final exam...

Hi.This is my first time when I am "active" not just reading the posts and I am doing this because my 2nd time NCLEX will be on 1April.I am very nervous,anxios and the only people that can share the some feelings as my ,are here.My family is supporting me,but I still think that I am not enough understended. I am international nurse (as you can read )and I gratuated 15years ago,so is not easy,but I know I can do it. The first time I did only questions from Saunders for almost 2 months,and in august my test stopped at 89 Q .I had Basic care Above;Pharmac &Safety-below and the rest of it near.I was upset but I realize that I didn't study and also I am very sure about The Good will depends very much about what kind of questions you got,some of them I know the answers very well ,same of them are still SF for me... I enrolled in KAPLAN from de end of january and I did not study something else,before january for 2 months I was trying to study my self and I got stuck with so many books,so I decide to get Kaplan for international nurses.For me is working well so far,but I have to see the result. My plan is on 1 of April to try again and IF I will not pass I give me another chance in 25of may, when my kaplan will expire....after that...I really don't know.. Good luck to everyone and Pray!!!!
