I go to Joseph's School of Nursing in Lancaster,Ca. The cost is $16,000.

I go to js and it isn't illegal!!:chuckle My parents went through strenuous background checks of this school before allowing me to even go there. Welcome Mamaof1:) A LPN is a Licensed Practical Nurse. A LVN is a Licensed Vocational Nurse. They're the same, except that Texas and California use the term LVN. I live in the Antelope Valley and have recently started the LVN program. If you need anymore help let me know.:)

I do....I go two days a week from 5:30PM to 9:30PM on thursdays and fridays and from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on saturdays. Starting in august we'll be going monday-friday 5:30PM to 9:30PM and saturdays 7AM to 7PM

LMAO:roll I recently started nursing school and while learning to make a closed bed, my classmate and I had to move the dummy.So we decided on moving him to a commode..instead of laying him down on the floor like everyone else. Well during the move my classmate carrying his right side(sheesh they weigh a ton!!)let him go so then he dropped it on the floor ...And there goes the dummy's member rolling across the room....we now call her the member remover...

update: i recently started the lvn program at joseph's school of nursing in lancaster. they do have cna and medical assistant classes as well . thanks for everyones help

I just started my lvn program in california and its $15,000 . I have to apply for different scholarships and wht not. Its the cheapest i found and the its less then 20 mins away from my parents house.I come from a middle class family,my parents think its very affordable.They would like for me to get some of the scholarships i applied for but dont mind paying the $15000 full if need be.

Orientation is may 07 and so is the first day im so excited.

yesterday i went a newly opened nursing school in my city which is privately owned called joseph's school of nursing with my mother.. i really was just going to check it out and actually enrolled right then and there into their lvn program . this week has been crazy today i go up to my high school to finish my last credit. i been pushing to finish early and now i'm done!!(graduation is the may 29). so then my mom paid for the first two months tuition the total price for the school overall is $16,000 which is the cheapest i have found in california. they also gave me scholarships to sign up for as well. they then gave some things to study for the the entrance exam(which i passed of course! ). they ordered my uniform and books, told my mom and i that i had to go out and buy scrubs and shoes in the mean time till they come. quan my bf was excited for me as well his only concern was if they were accredited with the bvnpt (board of vocational nursing and psychiatric technicians). which i knew they were. i had when on the bvnpt.gov site and called the board to double check about a month ago when i had wanted to do my cna there. my father and mother will be helping me with most of the tuition for now but i'm hoping to get on a couple of scholarships plus i have money set aside for school as well from great grandmothers and such. also, when i turn 18 in september i can get on state assistance and the state will pay for my tuition. also get a job as well. my little girl is 2 and she was so excited to see me in my scrubs when i told her ill be going to school to be a nurse now. she told me now i can be her doctor so she doesn't have to go and get shots anymore i feel truly blessed this week ill be officially done with high school and starting nursing school not to mention my bf quan found a job!!! now i have to start writing an essay for these scholarships. =d
