  7. thanks so much...ill keep that in mind..^_^
  8. hello..i was just wonderin..if someone here took NCSBN review already? im just really confused right now and i feel like i dont want to waste one more day just browsing on which review course is really effective..i have checked NCSBN before but never really able to try it...their course catalogue is kind of weird...i was trying to order some of their programs/products (even before) but i'm always left with errors on page and so cant go through...i hope to get some feedbacks and help from anybody who has tried this NCSBN before (or even just thought to try it) on how you get hold of it. thank you for the time..
  9. i dont know if this is true..i did not care with my time since i know i have a lot when i took my first take..and was actually slow taking all the time i need to make sure i understood the question and analyzed it as hard as i can as well as the choices before choosing an answer...yet i failed. my mom and i were thinking if that had affected my results at all since nursing is critical thinking yet you need to be quick also like how you should prioritize and think of what to do in times of emergency. is it really adviseable to trust your first instict instead of being too cautious causing you to spend more time with one item? does time counts at all? pls advise...thank you.
  10. hello..thanks for your replies..im really interested with suzanne's plan..i'm still checkin how it works..i already have the saunders 4th ed..that's what i used before. i finished that one already..im still trying to figure out, reading some threads here to share on suzanne's plan..
  11. oic..and that ATT, they can send me thru e-mail? thank you ma'am..
  12. yup me too..a lot about nutrition...i hope there's a way to study more efficiently dietary questions..its just so confusing at times..God bless and help us all..
  13. oh my..more than 10 sata?!! that's a lot! i got fewer..how i wish there's easier and more effecient ways to study these sata questions.
  14. you're not alone..i need the same help..i used saunders before and i dunno if it worked for me..im hearing a lot of nega feedbacks from kaplan..and its also expensive too..im not sure sith the ncsbn review courses...im at lost too..
  15. dont loose hope...even in the worst-case scenario..there's always a frist-time and even second chances...God bless..
  16. whether you pass or fail..if you know you did your best..its ok..we can always hope for the best but if it will not come, we can always try again..like me..i also stopped at 75..i failed..this is not to discourage you..as long as you do not receive it in black and white..don't lose hope..now im in the process of moving on and starting all over..God give me strength!...
  17. i was just a lil confused..i called BRN to make some clarifications yet i'm still not sure if i understood them correctly...they said i can mail in immediately my request for re-apply form to retest together with the 75 usd fee (meaning anytime right?) and then wait for my eligibility. so the minimum wait of 45 days applies now when i'll be scheduling an exam with pearson vue after receiving my ATT again? is it 45 days after my last exam date or after the date in the result notification..so if i took the exam last january and send a request to reapply right away, and receive my eligibility and register with pearson and receive my ATT again, then like around april this year i can retake already?just want to make sure..thank you so much.
  18. in my case, i got the notification (which was actually dated three days after i took the test) after two weeks...guess it really depends.
  19. im going to be a retaker soon..i failed my first take and actually just knew it last night...twas so sad..but i want to move on now..no time to lose..i want to be prepared again and was thinking about ms.suzanne's plan..how can i do that ma'am? sorry just a newbie here..i just got ineterested..im considering to try other studying methods that maybe would be more helpful than just studying all by myself..tho im thankful CA offers unlimited takes, i want to pass my second take already..pls help.thanks!^_^
  20. i took my test last january 09. and really empathizes with that feeling as to how everyone felt that nerve-racking experience after taking the test..the anticipation for the result was crazy.. at first i was very positive and got actually excited..days passed by im beginning to be anxious..and the moment i got the answer..it was horrible. first line: we regret to inform you that you did not pass the test..that whole night i was crying.."a time to mourn" indeed yet the next day i woke myself up saying time to move on..and they are right..this is just a trial..now im writing this thread hoping someone would give me pieces of advise as to how to start preparing for my next test, this time as a re-taker. previously, i was just on a "self-study mode" basically with the help of my saunders book and cd plus the free reviews, practice questions and recorded seminars i found online..this time im thinking to seek help from a review center..like attend class or whatever..can somebody recommend some reliable ones pls? i also want to know if saunders is really the best study guide or if there are other more effecient ones out there? coz honestly i found the practice questions in saunders pretty easy to undertsand especially when you get used to them..yet i'm not sure if it was a great help at all while im taking my exam..coz i got really confused and somehow their style is different and well obviously i failed..yet i know the blamed should not be on the study guide alone..im really at lost right now how to start all over, especially when it comes to what manner of studying techniques would i use to be better this time...so yeah, aside from praying and not stop trusting God, what's the next step after i fail my nclex? i hope joining this site will also help me...thank you so much for your time.God bless.
  21. hi..i guess we also need to pray for the re-takers..like me..i failed my first take..twas a hard, sad experience after all the effort reviewing.. but im not losing hope..im trusting God He has a reason for this..i'll retake again and by God's grace hope to make it next time..i will pray for all of us as well..thanks..God bless us all.
  22. this is really helpful thanks! mine is: remember "afil" drugs is contraindicated with ones takin nitrates..okidok? one of the things i remembered in my courses of reviews.
  23. i felt how you all felt..and it was even horrible when i got my result..i failed. i cried myself to sleep..i dont know where to begin and how to review again..it was such a sad experience yet humbling..i know God has a reason for this..i'm hangin in here..i just hope i finally make it d' next time i take..pls help me how to get a good start?thanks..
  24. you're not alone my dear..i definitely need help too..i thought somehow i was doing good already especially during my review for nclex..i was doing exactly the same thing that you did..yet i also failed..but time to wake up..it isn't over yet..it just means what we gave obviously is still not enough..we have to focus more altho i myslef dont know where to start..let's not loose hope and start trusting wholly to God and ask for wisdom and strength..im gonna start reviewing again for my next take and what i will do is that i'll focus on those areas where i think im weak at..dont stop practicin till we get average of 80 or probably 90? let's aim high.easier said than done i know but let's know He has purpose for everything..
