So today I am officially the last of my group of friends in my nursing class to not yet pass the NCLEX. It's very frustrating because I know I would never let half of the people in my class touch me with a needle, insert a catheter or change a dressing on me. And more than half are already nurses. I know ...I know alot about nursing..don't get me wrong I'm not perfect..but I do get decent scores on practice questions. So now I truly believe NCLEX is a matter of LUCK. Some people (probably most in my class) get questions they are fairly familiar with. I dont know what more to do. I have horrible luck and I have my whole life. I know I sound very negative but enough is enough I think the NCLEX is BS and if there were a hands on exam...I woulda been the first to pass. Not people who know how to answer a test question. Maybe my " I dont give a crap" attitude will help in passing this disgusting test. I know the caring attitude isnt working!

I had 265 and I know exactly how you feel... unfourtunately i failed...I hope the results are much better for you!

I learned many good techniques with kaplan but I failed.

I am thinking of trying suzannes plan too...after failing three times...what is there to lose? more to gain i hope

I feel you on this one. Ive failed 3 times and it doesnt get easier. I need a job as well and I've applied for CNA positions and still can't get hired! I'm sick of hearing.."why are you applying for this job" Very frustrating.. but Ive decided I cant keep concentrating on a job and money or I will never pass this thing. I think half my stress of this is causing me to fail!

Ive taken the nclex three times and my second time I failed with 75..I def. felt stupid because my first time I failed with 209..I figured I had just gone down hill! But the second time I knew I rushed and didn't concentrate enough. I also had some stress going on. Then my third time I failed with 265, so I've gone to all extremes. It sucks but I guess it will only make me stronger.

I took Kaplan and I failed. I don't think it's the program because I learned a lot of useful tips that i will continue to use as a study. It all depends on how you learn.

Hey... I am also struggling with NCLEX have taken it 3 times and failed....I was at the point where I didnt know what to do and lost. I still feel that way sometimes. It helps a lot to take a break for awhile and enjoy the company of your family and the ones that love you because even though it feels as though NCLEX is owning you right now...it's not the most important thing in the world. I am going to try suzannes plan. I really dont feel like waiting another 2 months to take it again but what do I have to lose.. another failure? I don't want to chance it.

I am also super frustrated! I have failed 3 times and still have not passed. I had the same issue as to classmates who I would not let touch me if I ever saw them in a hospital because I know how they studied and that their commitment to learning sucked. AND THEY HAVE PASSED NCLEX. All I can say is (after being very mad) I have more trouble taking tests and I feel that NCLEX is a lottery as well. My mother passed the first time 75 questions...that doesnt make her a better nurse. She might have gotten questions she's more familiar with. As much as I am negative I try to stay positive because I know I'll NEVER pass it if I'm negative. From one NCLEX fighter to another...I'm rooting for you (well us!) :nmbrn:

As I had thought...i failed...heres for a fourth try? maybe i dunno if im willing to spend another 200 on this test

just took nclex for the third time....265 and four hours later i wanted to throw myself into traffic...the first time i failed with 209...the second with 75 and now 265 ...ugh if i failed again i'm not so sure nursing is for me.
