  1. Why do you say that? Is the difficulty for new grads only or in general? That is very discouraging to hear....but I have to say, Florida is not much better.... I appreciate your feed back, but I'd appreciate some more information. Thank you so much Claudia
  2. Hello, I am relocating back to the Bay Area from Florida in June and I am in need of some good advise about where to look for a job (which hospitals are better, etc). However from looking at other blogs, it seems that California is having a tough time with the economy the way it is (Florida is not much better). I have 1 1/2 year of experience. Is the Bay Area really hard to get a job? Does anyone knows about Sacramento? I appreciate in advance any good imputs. Thanks FutureCaliNurse :tinkbll:
  3. Thank you for your tips, this really helps me.

  5. Thank you. It was the icing on my cake to pass with 75 questions. Thank you so much.
  6. And it was a blessing! the computer shut off at 75 and this morning I found out that I passed. What an awesome present! Thanks!
  7. I am right there with you. I took mine today 02.03.09 (my birthday, by the way) and the computer shut off at 75 and I don't feel very confident either. So I am hoping....hang in there and good luck!!
  8. Thank you so for your support!! I appreciate your positive energy!!
  9. And the closer I get to it, the more I feel that I am not ready. I'll probably age another 10 years that day, oh well, at least I will look 40 then. Seriously, I am starting to freak out. I am using the Hurst Review...has anyone used it? Did it help?
  10. Hello pocmarz87, I am going to the career fair on November 6, not only it will help me, but also because it's mandatory for the class that I am taking now. I hope to make really good connections there. See you there!!
  11. I don't think there is an entrance exam at this point.
  12. Thank you so much. Yes, I am very proud of myself...did I mention that I have 3 kids and I battled thyroid cancer while in the program?...so you can imagine how happy I am. Thank you so much for your response and the best of luck to you. Time will fly and before you know you will be where I am.
  13. I will be graduating in December/08. The BCC, now BC program is the hardest thing I've ver done, but if I can do it, anyone can. However it didn't come easy. I know I have to study harder than most people to get the same result, and I did. I am proud to say that I did not fail any classes. So if you put the time into the program and are willing to work hard, you will be fine. It won't get easier after the first classes, it will get harder. I never questioned my willingness or ability to become a nurse, even in those classes that I barely made it. I know nursing is for me. So, again, your frame of mind and willpower will play a major role in your success. Good Luck!!
