Hi NataschasaxU Welcome to Saint Joesph So far the school has been o.k there was a rough start when it came to clinicals but seems like they have worked out some of the bugs. I am completing my first round of clinicals I will try to keep you guys posted the 2nd round of clinicals starts soon.

I agree less fluff and more things related to practice. More communication between students and falculty. Reduction in tuition. Students learn better by doing more time should be spent in clinicals. There should be classes added such as radiology and 12 lead ekg readings and lab findings

I'm in the same situation I work day shifts and I am stuck working every weekend so I can have two days a week to do my clinicals I had to beg my boss to work ten hour shifts unstead of eight so I can have at least one day to my self by the time I do an ten hour shift I'm so tired I dont even want to study and by the time you add the drive which is a 30 min commute for me one way I have to stay full time to keep my families health insurance Thats a good idea about using the PTO I should have a lot saved up so maybe I can use that if I get to wore out

I liked the self pace that was great but now that we are about to start the first round of clinicals they are going to be in a cohort which means each clinical rotation is going to take 15 weeks which sucks I usually dont use the whole 15 weeks to complete a class not a happy camper about that I will try to keep you guys updated with how the clinicals are going were looking to start next month

I have student loans but did get some tuition reimbursment about 3 thous. dollars worth not really a whole lot but when I am done I plan on applying for a student loan repay off program

I recently met both Hollier and fitzgerald at the AANP conferance both where very knowledge able about the certification and where very nice. I met other NP at the conferance and many of them had taken one or the other and some even both all of them had nothing but positive things to say about them.

well almost finished with the research class and it is a lot of work also started the NP theory class which is also a lot of work, Still awaiting to here when clinicals will start. Hopefully I will know somehting soon.

I also go to st. joes so far it is going well for me starting first round of clinicals very soon

I work full time and go to school full time. If you really want to make it work u can do it I study every where lunch break at work, in the park with the kids, while I am waiting under the dryer at the hair dressers. I will be starting clinical next month still planning to work full time I will be switching to working four 10 hour shifts and going to clinicals 2 days a week

Good I just purchased some used fitzgerald cd's today $200 hope they will be worth it.

has anybody taken this necessary review for fnp review? if so how did you like it and did you pass your exam? has anybody purchesed her cd's or books and if so how did you like it? i am thinking about purchasing some items from this review company but was concerned because it looks like a newer smaller company. their workshops and cd are much more affordable then barkley and fitzgeralds. they have a full money back garantee so if you know any thing about the necessary review for fnp please leave a comment

Oh my gosh just realized how much I owe in loans. Ok I started out as a LPN then went to rn then BSN now working on my master about half way done with it currently owing about 32 tho. and by the time I am all the way done I will owe 42 tho. Did not realize I had that much in loans. So I , am thinking about paying on my intrest before I am completly finished. Hopefully this will help. I was only planning on getting at the most 20 to 30 tho in loans. But in the end I hope it will be worth it.

very true HRSA funding is out there but I worry about how long will these funding be available with this economy I am hoping to get HRSA when I am done with school

you no their are more afordable schools out there my school is only about 24tho and there is another school in my area about 15 tho and one about 2 hours away thats only 12 tho check out state schools they are more afordable

I am in a FNP program now They are thinking about starting a DNP program maybe by the time I am done it will be up and running. I also love the online learning I can work and go to school and still make it to my kids baseball games and swim lessons

Thats ok I think I found a used one on amazon .com it is a little pricey thogh theses CD cost hundreds of dollars. I am asuming you get more then one cd right and does it come with a book to cost so much? Are the CD's really worth all that money or should I try to save for the live review.

Hi I am a FNP student I want to know who has the best review course for FNP. Are the CD's just as good as the review course? who has the best review for my (money) ?

I work full time and go to school full time and still manage to keep a 3.56 so yes you can do it if you plan and study your butt off I have two kids and a hubby my children participate in sports in the summer and I still plan to make it to every game even if I have to take my flash cards with me. If you really want it you can do it
