So they don't use the books on the syllabus? Which classes would I take the first semester? How long is a typical day? Which day is your classes on do they normally stay the same every semester?

I live in Augusta area and I was wondering if you could tell me where do we buy are books for this location. I also was wondering about the amount of information given and what was the schedule for the day like?

Hey, everyone I'm glad to see students from ATC representing on this blog. I hope to start the LPN to RN bridge program in Jan 2010. I'm not sure what last 2 semester classes are because I couldn't find any info on ATC website. I also wondered does anyone have any good advise or encouragement about maintaining a high grade point avg. being that the grade scale is so high! I'm a bit concerned about the grading scale and teachers. I would also like to know if anyone has taken any class online once in the program and from which instructors. I would also like to know if anyone has advice on which instructors to take for which class and any helpful study material I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi, I'm an LPN in Ga applying to the Midlands tech LPN-RN bridge program. I have to get the pre-nursing certificate inorder to apply to RN program. Has anyone been through this program? How long is the wait usually? I have just sent transcripts so I need to go to an advisor in June to see what classes they will except or not because some of my class are on quaters and semesters. I hope they will except my A&P 1 & 2 and Micro even though they were taken back in "99". I looking forward to hearing any info about the course and school. I think I will have to get a SC LPN license when I get to the schools program right know I"m a new grad working in Augusta, GA.

Hello I was just reading your comments. I learned alot about the colleges in TN refresh program frrom your advise. I'm in the sort of same situation as you but I have failed two nursing courses and I live in GA. I'm just started working as a LPN a would like to get my RN degree. I wondered did you know of any RN school in TN that is close to Ga that has that refresh program. I didn't even know that this opportunity was available thanks for responding to the other young lady. I'm in the same situation that you are in with 2 failed attempts in RN program. I can get a letter of good standing from my former school but I can't get any school to except me. I have just graduated from LPN school and working on my first job for a little over two months as a charge nurse and would like to get RN soon. I had never heard of start fresh program for nursing. In which states are these fresh start programs available. I wish you all the luck in the world. It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only person with this problem.

Hey, this is Kendra a new LPN grad in Stone Mtn. I wanted to go back to school and wanted to know would it be smart to do LPN-RN bridge or go all the way and get the RN-BSN degree instead? I also wanted to know if there is an online way to finish or test out of A&P 1&2 and Microbiololgy. I have taken them all but know are too old!

Congrats to all the new grads. I'm new to the site and was wondering is the UCLA Medical Center mentor program for only RN or can Lpn apply? If LPN can apply where do I start the process to get more info? I'm in Atlanta and having a hard time finding work I got LPN license in July 08.
