  1. Okay so this totally perked me up out of my pre-req slump and mope making me really think about how I am an academic masochist..along with all of you! I love the pre-req hustle and can only imagine what is in store in nursing school. Yet, something like the Footloose video from the nursing students at Baylor Louis makes me realize that there will be freinds and bonds to make to get you through the hard stuff. Everything in life is uncontrollable except the attitudes we carry, right?
  2. So I know part of Anatomy and Phys is dissecting. That's fine. But when I am asked to learn the human muscles in addition to the muscles of the cat, all origins and insertions, plus ear, eye, spinal, and nerve anatomy and then only asked/tested on the cat... I am peeved! I want to be a nurse not a VET (no offense vet's or vet techs) Grr.. Anyone else having frustrating movements in their A&P courses?
  3. I am looking for any helpful hints or information about Aiken Technical College's RN program. I see lots of info for Columbia and the coastal areas but only two threads for the whole SC thread. Any tips for admissions or info about how the program is and progression. I am here there is a big drop out rate...yet a very high (like 98%) NCLEX pass rate. Is this true?
