The readings dont start with chapter one. They skip all around the books.

I was told by someone that you could go to the nursing office and pick up a copy. I can't make it out there while they are open. They should have offered that that orientation. That would have been nice. Mello1177 are you able to post what reading assignments you have?

I thought that the uniform prices were good. I might look around before buying there. Is there a specific style of pants we have to have? Can they have pockets on the sides (cargo style)?

They had the classes set up in pods. You had to pick one and that was the classes (days and times) you got. They called them pods.

I started reading but I haven't heard if we are suppose to or what we should be reading. What pod did you get? I'm in pod 11.

I was just wondering where people are getting their titers done at? And how much it cost? I have everything else done. I had mine done at UofM but they don't do titer numbers. Thanks

Sorry to hear you guys did not get in. I still have hope but my mail doesn't come until this evening, what you get when you live in the country 6-7 pm mail. That really sucks because I know a lot of people reapplied that did not get in for the fall and they did not retake any classes because the nursing department told them that they would get in with 3.5s and 3.6s. Well stick in there and I wish you the best of luck. This is just one of the many bumps in life.

Tuesday is Veteran's Day, does the mail run that day?

Well September seemed to go by fast but October is taking forever. How is the waiting going for everyone? I'm going crazy waiting! I hope they have their stuff together and we get our letter at the beginning of November, sooner would be better:)

Lunden, I am very anxious. I left the meeting Aug. 26 feeling like I forgot to do something. I did hear a lot of people saying the GPA would be lower this time. When I was waitiing to turn in my application I was peeking at the grade others had and I seen a lot of people applying with Cs. Not just one C but two or three. So I think our chances are much higher. I completely understand where you are coming from when you say you are excited and scared. I am in the same boat. I hope October flies by so we can get our Happy Letters. Good Luck and hopefully we will be meeting in person in the next few months at orientation.

my friend applied on sept. 15 and was there for about 20 minutes. she said there were maybe 30 people but more people where coming in as she was leaving. she said that the sept. 15 meeting was set up differently than the aug. 26 meeting. the sept. meeting had two lines one to get the application and one to turn it in. she said there were about three to four people there making sure people had all their stuff when turning it in. i wish there were people there to do that at the aug 26 meeting.

The application meeting is at the New NW Campus. The lady said that when you pull in there will be security guard outside to direction us to the right building.
