New Grad ED Interview - HELP!
I know it is important to be confident. One thing I remember while interviewing are questions about dealing with patients who are hard to deal with or coworkers who are hard to deal with, with examples. You have to seem like you will mesh well with the staff including support staff

case study advice
I have no idea how to do a case study. I can answer case study questions, but not a case study. I was told to do a case study on my patient and when I asked how to do that I was told I should know. Maybe I should but I am not sure how. From what I have gathered it seems like a care plan essay typr of paper except that the guide says to develope questions to stimulate critical thought. I am confused!!! any suggestions of sites to look at or if you just know what to do can you explain PLEASE

WCCCD Nursing teachers Help/Advice
The problem with this is that everyone feels different when it comes to the different teachers. I had a couple teachers that everyone said where soooo hard and I did well in the classes and loved the teachers, and I couldn't stand the teacher everyone said was so great and couldn't get a good grade on a test to save my life, but I did manage to get a passing grade.

The only classes you need are A&P 1&2, microbiology, english 1, and intro to psychology to apply.

I have been very careful about following their directions, and so far, haven't had any problems with my paper work. I know of one girl who had a recommendation that wasn't right (don't remember why) and she was allowed to switch it and was still accepted to the program. You can always go into the office and have your paper work looked at. I did that before the meeting after we were accepted and and had to show our medical papers. Be careful that you get acceptable references though, I know of a few people that that had been a problem for. I know and employer is acceptable and some one you have known for over 10 years. I've worked for the same company for over 10 years so I used the owner and a co-worker, both of which I have known for over 10 years, and had no problem. They do not accept letters from professors

I am pretty sure you can get a reading list from the nursing office. I did not get one but some one read it off to me, for one class anyway

This is the first semester of their new point system, I believe, so you probably aren't going to get any concrete answers because I am not sure anyone knows how they are doing things now. I am starting the program this month and at the application meeting we just filled out the applications and we turned them in with our information, they looked over it a little bit and answered quick questions, but they are not checked there, and you won't really know if there is a problem with something until later on. My essay was about 2 pages and I had a 4.0 in my pre-reqs also. Anyway... GOOD LUCK
