hello I worked as a medical biller and coder for more than one year and as what you have said it is very challenging and easy to do when you are familiar with it. Actually, it is outsource here in the philippines and many company here look for a nurse for this job and it pays high. i don't know in your country if it is the same. Our boss which is my auncle also told us that billing and coding pays also high in other country. You will not regret in this job because it is also related of what we studied:D
  3. hello. My suggestions is you should examine yourself where is the part that you don't really master or let's just say, you find it more difficult among the rest then you focus that part. The most important to the med is you know its use, advantages and disadvantages, who to apply, it's contraindication, side efect or adverse effect. If you're going to take the exam next week, you better relax yourself this week
  4. Since the result was not yet there, you better enjoy yourself first, have fun and most of all don't forget to pray because no matter what you do to look for the answer of the questions you encountered it will not really give you the assurance if you pass or not. Just wait for the result first because if you will keep on worrying the exam you take, it will just put you to be panic more or lets just say it will lead you to worry more. I understand how you felt right now because I already experienced that one and it's not easy. No matter what the result is be strong and most of all ACCEPT it. The most impportant is YOU GIVE YOUR BEST! Good luck:wink2:
  5. Well done. I am so proud of you and you give me encouragement that someday I will become a great nurse too. Hope your brother recover asap and live life to the fullest and appreciate the 2nd chance that GOD given to him..Again I'm proud of you friend
  6. I do agree that patient should have be in ICU to have a one on one care basis because you still have 5 patients and it is very difficult for you to give a full time care for patient having an insulin drip
  7. OK thank you so much for the suggestions. Actually it was my bf in canada who force me a lot to get that exam. Again thank you so much:wink2:
  8. I am a graduate of BSN here in the Philippines. So you mean I would first apply to the BON? What are the requirements needed when I go there? So that I can bring it along with me. Thank you so much for the help. I really appreciate it.:wink2:
  9. Since I was a child I really, really love to wear all white (like a white lady?haha). At first I would like to become a doctor but then when I reached the end year of my high school I change my mind and choose to get the nursing course. I told my mom and dad that I would like to become a nurse and get nursing course they answered me "Child can you choose another course because it's some kind of big expenses and me and your dad afraid that we can't support you all through out your study" after hearing that, I feel that I have a no chance to become a nurse and I loose hope. I prayed to God thay someday my mom and dad changed their mind and support me to pursue my dreams and then one day, My uncle and brother talked my mom and dad that it was so hard to get a course which is not really what I want in my, they really explained it 2 my parents. I think God hear my prayer because my parents agreed and support me to get the nursing course. They really tried their best to support me that's why I studied so much so that they will not get disappointed and to show to them that they are not wasting their time supporting me. And now I'm already a graduate of nursing and I'm very proud of it even though I'm not yet registered. Any way, I'm planning to take the NCLEX exam and I don't know what are the requirements needed and where to apply, can anyone help me please.......
