  1. good luck!! i'm sure you will do fine. just be yourself, and relax. for scenario questions, give your self 30 seconds-1 minute to think it through, and give them your honest opinion. i'm sure your education and experience have given you what you need to do well!
  2. i'm not a nurse yet, but i have spoken to some nurses and read articles on nursing as a profession. the article said that about 60% of nurses wish they could change their profession, and some nurses have agreed with this. while this statistic is rather sad, i feel that i want to be a nurse for my own personal reasons. if you can figure out those reasons, i'm sure you will come to love nursing. if not, maybe a change in profession would be good.
  3. i haven't started, but i'm really excited to work with geriatric patients! thanks for the sweet story.
  4. i think i have heard of nursing programs at hospitals that will help pay some part of tuition or give out a scholarship? good luck!
  5. i've heard that in general, littmann scopes are good, but always try it out before purchasing. some of them aren't as good.
  6. is it better to be a part-time worker and benefits or per diem worker with no benefits?
  7. also, while pomona may not be the best city to live in, there are lots of better areas near pomona.
  8. I applied to a few other schools as well, but still chose to go to western because it is the only school that has a FNP certificate. Most other schools only offer becoming a clinical nurse.
  9. I believe that you are required to go onto campus for the hands-on portion of the classes.
