  1. Lunah, Can you order the pratice exam from excelsior without being enrolled? Just decided to come back after hearing about Texas recert and started studying already had books from before. I have already applied but not yet enrolled. Kim, RRT-NPS
  2. I just learned that Texas got reinstated and very excited, I had almost given up. Does it still work the same where you can take the first two test before enrolling? Can you order the practice test for these two test like the others to study by? After I take these two I am planning to enroll and get started. I graduated from respiratory school and learning alot but still would like to further with nursing still. Also, do we have to pay cash for the classes or can we take out loans? Sorry for all the questions just wasn't for sure if anything had changed. I appreciate all your help.
  3. Even though I don't know you that well, congradulations.....
  4. Yes I am interested in your collection. Thank you,
  5. How did you prepare for your test. I'm just reading the material right now and then planning on taking the practice test from EC but not sure if its enough.
  6. Can you email me this information as well. I'm still really far from taking the test but it doesn't hurt to know these things as I study along. Thank you,
  7. Hey Guys, Found out today that starting on Sept 1, 2008 there will be an exam that everyone has to take before receiving their liscense. This exam is over nursing ethics. I received this info from the Texas board of nursing in Austin. There will be more information on their website he said closer to time at www.bon.state.tx.us. The board member said that we can take before or after the nclex and their will be seminars and material to study for this. Just thought ya would want to know. txkdrt.
  8. Lunah, Do you know any members that are from texas? I heard today from excelsior that Texas students through excelsior will have to take some kind of ethics test through the board in order to get their liscense, effective Sept 1, 2008.
  9. Do you have time while taking it to write down the question or no? Or just time to write down the wrong ones or something?
  10. If you don't mind me asking what study guide is that in, or do we need to know this for each of them? I do have the book but also went to the link that was given above and that was helpful also, thanks.
  11. Lunah, I am a respiratory therapist so the whole Iv thing really bugs me out because even though I've seen them I've actually not done them in my line of work. I already know how to draw labs and give injections but no Iv experience. Do you recommend anything?
  12. Lunah, After purchasing the practice test are they online are do they come in paper form? Do you schedule ahead of time to take a test or do you finish your reading and the practice test then schedule the test? I am preparing to take NC 1 as well, still reading through all the material it seems like a never ending amount of material but its easy reading.
  13. I am currently signed up and trying to study for the test number one. My question is what exactly does the clinical exam consist of and do they supply you with any information to at least study somewhat?
