i recently completed math 903 (beginner's algebra) and math c (intermediate algebra). i took math c in a winter session three week course, that was very very hard. the only math i have left is math 10 elementary statistics and then no more maths. feel free to ask math questions, i remember most of it. i too have to take beginners algerbra. they said i could try to test out because it will take me 1 year just to get all the math out of the way. do you think i should try and test out of beginners algebra and test into college math or should i start where i tested into??? i just hate to have to be in math a whole year but i don't want to get into college math and fail out.

well maybe before you wait a whole year, brainstorm with your loved ones and see if there are other programs that let you take the net more than twice or have you take another entance exam. if not then get some co requisites done and try again next year. cry now and the pick yourself up and start working towards your goals again. you can do it. it will be ok. i am praying for you guys. thank you so much for your kindness. we need all the prayer we can get. so thank you for praying

made a 97% on math, 58% on reading=DID NOT MAKE IT.. needed a 60 or higher in the reading, this was my 2nd and last chance at it for this year at my school......cried all the way home, now have to wait until 2009 to try again. I know how you feel. I made a 58 on reading and a 61 on math which passed me but my school takes the highest scores and it is to late to retake the NET. I cried too:bluecry1: I have to wait till 2009 and so I went ahead and applied for my RN. We can cry together........tears.....Darn it..Darn it...

i just had to take the parts that i failed. oh, thank god! so is the reading tricky like the net test reading???? and what was on the math was there alot of algebra or was it basic stuff??? please tell me i take it tuesday . my school requires that you pass a certain score also.

I count respirations after I take the pulse. I keep my fingurs on the wrist and act like I am still taking the pulse so my pt's won't know that im am watching them breath (somtimes they will breath diffrent if they know your watching them). Then I take bp and temp.

Hello All, I am very new and am thinking of making a career change, I know I want to go into nursing, however, I am not sure of the differences between all the titles LPN, RN, MA, RT. I am looking for a good resource to define the differences, and maybe give some info regarding education level, job description and pay range. Maybe it would be best to just contact a local CC and set an appointment with someone in the nursing department. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks I am a MA and we are almost the same as LPN but if your gonna go to school for your RN it may be wise to get your CNA or LPN for the experience. God Bless!!

I dropped out of school when I was 14 and got my G.E.D when I was 18 and then went on in the medical field at a technology center. I am now wanting to go for my RN and have to take a HESI A2 test with chemistry on it! I have never ever ever took chemistry and I don't know where to even start. Anyone got any advice or know a good website that helps learn this stuff. Please help me...Please....

hi everyone. i was wondering, if you currently work for a hospital, if yours is phasing out lpns? mine is. every week there are new restrictions, and many days they are pulled down to "tech" (cna work). i am a cna, and wanted to go to lpn school first, and then rn...but now i am wondering if there would be a job for me as an lpn! is this solitary to my facility, or are other places doing this as well? any insight you have would be appriciated! hi, i am a cna/ma also and i was gonna go for my lpn until i found this very same thing out. i decided to jump over lpn and go straight for rn because i always wanted to work in the e.r. i don't like that they are phasing the lpn's but atleast i found it out before i got mine.

nope, i decided to take my a &p1 and stats at swcc this fall to save money, then i'll transfer to baptist in the spring (hopefully)! i don't blame you money ain't easy these days..lol.. keep head strong everything will work out. :nuke: keep in touch and tell me how things are working out..k..

ummm, i was a high school drop out also. i went on to get my a.a.s. and i'm currently 7 classes away from getting my b.s. in health services management. but guess what????? i suck at math. lol...thanks for the encouragement. i'm going to start going over math problems. thanks again congrads!!!*wine 7 classes wow! good job! i hope to be in your shoes one day.

i hear ya! i am totally opposite. i am a part time cna/homeschool my son/college student and i wished like hell i could be bored. i am so tired right now i can barley hold my eyes open and the only reason i am on here is to stay awake! but i understand what your saying. i used to work at a job that i stayed bored at (it sucked) just hang in there untill you get through school. it will be okay. not a college student yet i am a wanna be college student i am trying to get in.

okay, that's reassuring because i've been worrying a lot about the math portion:banghead:. i have 2 net study guides and plus i'm working on problems i found at testpreview.com. hopefully that will help. that test preview site is the best! if you know all that>> your good to go! i also got that cliff pre-algebra study guide and it really broke it down for me. i will pray you pass, i know how you feel( i felt the same way) but if you know all the problems on the test preview you will ace that test! and you will because i am cofident in you:yeah:
