$200,000 to travel to Iraq
I am ex-Infantry with combat experience and would like to find an assignment in Iraq or Afghanistan, I cannot find a link that is not hot linked to bogus sites or sires that want a fee, who is actively hiring and sending nurses to these locations?

What are your limitations as a homehealth nurse?
lamaze teacher needs to take a Xanax and chill, you are just like the 99.9% of typa A female nurses I work with. Many people on "house arrest" are able to be employed. I walked the dog and did the other things on MY own DAMN time. My employer does not have WC anyway, and I guarantee they would pay for injuries sustained while at a patient's home. We have had staff attacked by dogs, family members and even neighbors and the company paid. Heaven forbid a HH nurse go above and beyond what is expected. I also have purchased groceries, clothes and medications for my patients. You remind me of the nurse that had just clocked out and passed someone in the hall in need and tells them "sorry I can't help you, I just clocked out" You sound like a know it all LVN

Tracking devices?
My agency does not currently track us, although the point of care technology we use would certainly allow them to. A local chain ,Encompass, does track staff visits with their PDAs, I was told part of orientation is how to "tweak" the system

What are your limitations as a homehealth nurse?
Let's see: I have walked the dog, been shocked while installing a ceiling fan light kit, installed a lock in a cabinet, installed hand held shower heads, repaired broken furniture and just this past Thursday I installed a starter motor in a lawn tractor. I have cooked and cleaned in the past, taken a client's grand-daughter (who was on house arrest) to work and I'm sure much more in my 13 years in home care.

485 Vital Sign parameters
I am in Texas, if that matters. What are you nurses using as standard vital sign parameters (if any).

Visit Equivalents
Good Luck and learn how to say NO, You WILL be doing hours of "paperwork" on your own dime. I have been doing HH for 13 years and been on salary the last 9. The worst part of HH and being on salary is losing windshield (driving) time and paperwork time. You must perfect your time management skills and be very independent and sure of your independent critical think skills. Many nurses jumped into HH when HH wages were almost triple hospital wages, hospital wages have since tripled and HH wages remained the same due to perspective pay etc.. pay for performance is on the horizon and will affect us all again. Hold on!!!!!!!!
