  1. I passed HAAD last January 28, 2010.. If I compare HAAD and NCLEX, NCLEX is much harder.. The questions in HAAD are simple and most of the choices, if you are going to choose for the correct answer is obvious..unlike the nclex questions, which are full of tricks.. I studied for 2 weeks and most of those topics are the common diseases.. I thought if ever i fail that test, i can pass it on my second try because believe me, like the other passers said, it's not that hard but it's not that easy though..but obviously, it's doable... Here's what came out.. looks similar to other HAAD passers: DM, MI, rheumatoid arthritis, cataract/drugs, therapeutic communication, Lithium, parkinson's, dementia, alzheimer's.. any common diseases that you hear/encounter.. hope these helps..fellow nurses, you can do it...:)
  2. Sorry for the mispelled word, "phase"..my mistake..hehe.. I'm thankful to this site that it's been my constant companion when i need information from nclex world..Not only that people here inspires you with wonderful stories, it also humbles us and realize our own strengths and weaknesses.
  3. scores from practice tests does not matter at all..as long as you understand the rationale of each.read the rationale whether you answered correctly or not.. i got only 50-60% in saunders cd but i manage to passed with 75 items.. i used suzanne's plan.. it's a cool way to prepare for nclex-rn.. just relax and study on your normal phase.. take your time and don't be in a hurry.. good luck to all...
  4. NURSELil-Lea, I also used Suzanne's Plan.. I passed NCLEX-RN with just 75 items.. I will never forget that moment..Suzanne's Plan is the best.
  5. Saunders is enough.. answer every question from the cd and read rationale even if you answered right or wrong...
  6. i hope so.. i have also a pending final interview in the Philippine Air Force...I'm just waiting for it and it will happen very soon. but if the saudi red crescent pushes through, for sure, I'll be accepting saudi.. for my family.
  7. i went to poea last week and passed my requirements for saudi red cross.. hopefully i can be accepted as when i apply online in srca website, they asked if i had military experience which i did..but not as a nurse.. i had worked there for more than 4 years.. i don't know a reason why such is being asked but hopefully that would be for an advantage.. i also stated that i am an nclex passer and my license registration in prc is more than 2 years so i hope i'll be ok... had more than a year experience in hospital..
  8. may i ask: 1. how can you be considered as an advanced nurse? 2. is having a master's degree qualify to that title (advanced nurse)? i don't know if i can be qualified but; 3.what if an employer in the US approves your application regardless of the experience or specialty? does these consular officers still have the right to deny me a visa? ** help me about these cause i think an employer is willing to support me about the process......pls....:typing
  9. yahooo! i got my letter after 3 weeks. i passed nclex-rn exam w/ 75 items using suzanne's plan only. my 1st try last year stopped at 98 then after 6 months i failed for 2nd time with 75 items.i was really confused on what strategy will i use until i found this suzanne's plan.after 7 months of wasted time, i tried suzzanne's plan.started this february and ended the plan in 2 and a half months. i was really surprised when i was answering the questions, i never thought it would be that easy.i knew what the questions are asking. the plan is so effective that had i known this plan before, maybe i could passed it the first try. i stopped with 75 items, now i am an rn!!! .praise god and thank you suzanne! to all who are preparing for this exam, just try it and you will discover that nclex is not that hard. believe me....good luck to all
  10. I got it! It says, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance.Another registration cannot be made at this time".Hope to pass this time around. It's really a long struggle for me.thanks...
  11. Yup I tried but they are looking for a program code and I don't know it.I took my exam in the Philippines on May 8 and it is the NCLEX RN exam.what is the program code they are asking? please help me...
  12. I called pearson vue.I asked them if I can register, they asked for my ID number from my ATT.Then the person put me on hold for 5 minutes.then he said I should wait first for the results/ call the BON.Does it mean the same thing when you are not allowed to give your credit card number on the website. Why did he asked for my ID number if in the first place, re registering is not possible at that time. Hope I pass this time...Has anyone called the pearson vue here?
  13. did you have Select all that Apply questions? What number did you stopped?I used suzanne's plan too.I had 7 SATAs and stopped at 75.please reply
  14. Do you ahve SATA questions? What compose your exam?
  15. TAY245, Well, my aunt passed on her 7th try, she 45 years old then. She worked for 17 years in saudi arabia. She never lose hope but she said she cried a lot every time she failed but look at her now and how she lift my self esteem every time I fail NCLEX.I failed twice already but I'm not loosing hope, I believe we can slay this single exam but I hope it's not seven times coz I think I don't have that much patience. So lift yourself up, we can do this.I'm using the 2nd part of suzanne's plan and I'm confident that 1 day I'll be a nurse.Just believe...
  16. Sorry OSCAR.I also failed twice but now I had myself back with suzanne's plan.I feel confident enough that one day I can call myself an RN. U know what, my auntie passed nclex-rn on her 7th try, she's now an ER nurse in NJ and she keeps on telling me that one day all my hardships will go to an end, just keep on studying and accept defeat.Forget what had happened and start again.we can do this.just believe.just do it...ok:angryfire
  17. After 5 bottles of beer, I think I'm ok.I'm ready.I realized it's just a test.Have 2 give myself a week to rest then I'll be going for it again for my family.I'll be doing suzanne's plan.thanks...:chuckle
  18. I can't believe it. I took my 2nd NcLEX exam and found out I failed again with 75q.I had a lot of prioritization.I was shocked.I studied for months and even reading the saunders cover to cover. Here I am trying to figure out my problem.I don't know how will I start because it's horrible to fail at 75 questions.I'm helpless I've given my all i think.I'm a registered nurse here in my country.please somebody give time for me, i need encouragement...I really wanted to take it again.the 2nd test is much harder than the first.I don't have any clue as to what will i do next. The 2nd result is worse than my first.I'm totally devastated,It was a crushing defeat but i'll be back.I need your help. Thanks
  19. Anybody who passed NCLEX RN on only 75 questions. I need some support.Mine stop at 75.I had no SATA but instead a lot of prioritization up until the last number.Anyone pleaase...
  20. Congratulations!!! you are a warrior. That's the kind of attitude I admire most in a person. What ever happen in my result next month, I will try and try until I pass. You inspired a lot of people here... I salute your perseverance, you deserve:loveya: all the good things that come your way.Congrats and enjoy!!
  21. Hi! Tiggerdear, where did you took your nclex exam? We have the same date and I took mine in trident tower, makati.I stopped at 75Q.Had mostly prioritization, delegation up until the last number:redbeathe. We'll be waiting for a month, Hope we pass this test.Good luck to all!!!!
  22. I forgot, I also have safety/infection control Qs. When I tell my stories to my friends who also took the exam, they told me that 2 of them experienced the same (no SATA) and still passed.I hope this could be true.Good luck to us SUPERSN2008.:redbeathe
  23. I hope so... My first exam was different.I stopped at 98Q and the last questions were easy. This time it was 80% prioritization but I was wondering why I don't have any SATA compared to my first exam(3 sata). Please pray for my success.I'll be waiting for a month to have my results.anyways, thanks for the reply....
  24. I took nclex-rn today.I have no SATA, almost all were prioritization up to to the last number.I had 4 calculations, 3 OB, can't remember others. Did I performed well on those, having these set of questions? I'm worried.this was my 2nd time and I hope this one be my last.
