I am so so with you!! I did the PVT and got the "good" pop up, but so scared to get excited just in case.... But everyone says it works so could it be true are we really nurses now!! Why does the board make us wait when they have the results?? Don't they know how much stress we are already under??? I find out quick results tomorrow morning!!!

Ok so it is my third time also and am testing here in a couple weeks. I went through quite a deep depression the last time and am nervous about this time, but we have worked hard and we can and will do it!! Think positive and don't be down on yourself it is a HARD TEST!! And you are not alone ok! Some of the best nurses in the world have had to take this test more than once. Email me if you want we can keep each other motivated!!! :) We will be nurses!!!!

I am so sorry to hear your news! I ahve failed twice, and will bet taking again next month sometime. I did the kaplan online live review at the end of dec. It wasnt what i thought it would be but i do think the decision tree can help with some of the questions it doesn't help with all of them. I have decided that i need more content review so that is what i am focusing on. don't give up we can do it! best of luck! michele

I did the online hurst review and it was really good, but I didn't pass... I have failed twice!! I did the Kaplan online live review and it was good. I think that by the time i am finished reading the book and doing the question banks and review tests I should be and WILL be more than ready to pass my third time!! I am having some trouble with the prioritizing... not so much with the delegation any more. Any advice would be great! thanks

I just found out yesterday that I failed for the second time too! No one knows what we are going through unless they have been here. Everyone is very supportive on here and that has helped. I am taking a break too just the rest of the weekend then back at it on Monday. I did see a website in a nursing magazine for flashcards that I think I am gonna use. the address is www.flashcardexchange.com and it is free to use. Good luck to you. I am gonna wait to reschedule for awhile until I feel more ready.

Thank so much for your reassuring words. I just found out today and am having a harder time than I thought I was.... I had to call my job and tell them so they called back and told me they had to terminate me... the tears started flowing all over again.... now I have to worry even more about how I will be able to pay my bills...

Well I failed again.... I am pretty devestated right now. I thought I was prepared to handle this better than the first time, but I still can't stop the tears. My dream for so long is to become a nurse and I won't give up until I do. I studyied so hard to prepare for the boards the second time around, and yet again a fail. I did the Hurst online which is a great review, but I think I should have went through it again. I can use it until the middle of November so I will do it again. Please pray for my brain to be able to take in the information yet again but for it to stick this time. ha ha. For those of you who passed congradulations to you and for others like myself lets just keep trying.... I didn't know I could feel this sad yet again....

I think I am calmer waiting for my results this time because I already saw a fail the first time. I know that I really prepared a lot more this time around. I had 149 questions on the first test and the 2nd x i had every question!! I was only in the testing center for 1 and 1/2 hours the first time and walked out thinking "there is no way I passed that test" this time which was yesterday I was in there for 4 1/2 hours I really took my time and read the questions and came out with the thought that I have no idea how I did!!! I know that I got the last question right but I am sure that means nothing. I only have to wait until tomorrow to find out, but not sure if I have the guts to check!! I will take the test as many times as it takes to pass, i just hope that this was the last time!! Oh by the way my boss (such a nice lady not!!) told me about 5 times that if i failed it for a second time that she wouldn't beable to hold my job! talk about anxiety!! which is already and issue!!! Well I hope i can call her tomorrow and tell her I will be in for work tomorrow night cause i passed!! Good luck to all!!!
