Hi please help me... i just started work as an RN permanent job in USA. im a foreign trained nurse planning to go back to my country and get married in about 6 months from now. i checked three days after my exam..

wow those are high scores to me.. my scores were like 50-65% and i just found out that I passed!! you'll pass.. im sure you can make it..:)

i passed!! the pearson trick actually worked for me.. i took for california.. it blocked me going thru the cc payment. i got my results after 3 weeks yehey!!!!!!

Thanks .. i think my last answer was correct coz it was a pharma computation. do you think it would be better to fail at 160+ or 265 items than to fail at 75? coz i think failing at a higher number would mean that we stayed near the midline and that the computer can just cant decide which means were just close to passing.. oh no im going crazy

i just took the nclex .. it was really really difficult. i stopped at 160+ i had a lot of pharma questions that i never heard of.. and a lot of SATA questions like 10 and click and drug plus computations.. arggg it was really horrible. i think i failed. i tested for california and results will be about a month from now.. i guess ill just to continue studying for my retake

I would administer oxygen first then while the patient is on O2, i would administer IV, besides its quicker to administer O2 than to insert an IV. Low O2 is what triggers sicle cell crisis. the questio is what would you do first, but if the question is asking what is most important, then my answer would be hydration...

Oh.. i think its not all the time that we have to answer assessment coz in this case, by looking at the patient with protruding loops of intestine is already an assessment so we need to intervene next which directs me to covering with soak sterile dressing.. :) i think what the book meant was that it isnt enough to just assess by inspection coz it doesnt have enough info to know whether the pt is stable or not so i need to assess further which is to assess for shock? yikes i think im gnna fail next week... im starting to freak out:crying2:

By the way, for you, are the actual NCLEX RN questions more difficult than Kaplan Q banks? coz im really worried about by scores, im getting around 60% average (68% max).. also only did like 300 questions on saunders and i dont have much time to finish all 4000 questions..

situation: wound edges are open and loops of intestine are protruding. which action should you take First? cover wound with saline-soaked dressing? or check BP and HR? The book answerd Check BP and HR coz client may be in shock, so the first action is to assess clients BP and HR but my answer is cover wound with saline dressing first coz this would prevent further shock thru evaporation whic might lead to hypovolemia and then check BP and HR next.. what do you think?
