  1. BoszPrince to answer your question: Yes, all 3 of my classmates who passed in CA did have the good pop up too.
  2. 3 of my classmates here in CA took NCLEX RN on Monday June 6th and on the 9th, their names were on CA BON. Congrats!!!:nurse:
  3. Just wondering, who has used Exam Cram? Did it work? I have mixed feelings about it. Any feedback will be appreciated.
  4. Tried to do that. It's right-protected: You can't copy or print it.
  5. How much do they pay new grads in NY? I graduate in May and am willing to relocate from Ca.
  6. Does anyone have any idea what kind of questions are asked for IV certification? We have a practicum on Friday and the pass mark is 90%. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
  7. I graduated in December 2007 and was licensed April 2008. Recently got offered a job in an outpatient drug rehab and psych clinic. Start on April 28th. I am currently attending a local community college for my RN prereqs. Proud to be mother of 3, wife, "A" student, and looking forward to being an outstanding nurse!
  8. I live in California, too. I tested on Feb 20, received my letter on March 14th, and personally took my $120 to the board on March 17th. I live in Sacramento. Today is March 30th, and I still have not received my license and my name is not on the board's website yet. Another thing, my check for $120 has not been cashed yet. So enjoy, because it's a little bit of a wait here in California.
  9. I wouldn't listen to people telling you that LPN school is a waste of time and money. It was well worth my time. I'm also working on getting my RN and I was recently licensed as an LPN. You'll be making a "decent living" while pursuing your career. Go for it!!!
  10. I took mine on Feb 20th and stopped at 85. I live in Ca and just found out on Friday that I passed. Plenty of SATA, prioritize, OB. You passed.
  11. Congrats nurse. Me too.
  12. Thanks everyone for all your support. This site has really helped me cope for the last 3wks and 2days of waiting. I really appreciate each and everyone.
  13. OMG, received my results today - I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Stopped at 85 questions here in Cali on Feb 20. I'm a nurse! Had my hubby check the mail, I was too nervous.
  14. I don't think you can work as an LVN because you are not yet licensed. I think you can be employed as a Graduate Practical Nurse pending your certification and you are supposed to be licensed within 120 days.
  15. I agree with the other postings. If you want to continue to be a nurse, don't think about fighting as "starting trouble". I would get a very good lawyer and start the ball rolling because at the end of the day, it's their word against yours. You have to fight!
  16. Called BON today and they said they are mailing results for Feb 18th. So to answer your question: nothing yet. I am getting more and more nervous.
  17. Congratulations!!!!!!! Was it a big or small envelope? I took mine Feb 20 and I'm expecting my results end of this week, or early next week. Go celebrate!!:yeah::nurse:
  18. Thanks for the info, Yellow. I took my test on 2/20 so I'm still waiting and praying.
  19. Congrats. I've been following your thread. I notice you live in Stockton. I live in Elk Grove, Cali and the major hospitals here are not hiring LVNs. Do you know of any other hospital in Stockton that's hiring besides Dameron. Would appreciate feedback. I'm willing to make the drive. Once again, congrats!!!:bowingpur
  20. I agree with AlexK49. You have to have done reaallly badly for you to fail at 85. I'm pretty sure you passed. I know how you feel, trust me. Mine stopped at 85 too and I could not eat or think straight for days. I also live in Cali and have to wait about 2-3 more weeks. Try to keep your mind off things. (I know - easier said than done). Luckily for me, I am in school doing some RN pre-reqs, so my mind can put the NCLEX aside for a while.
  21. I stopped at 85. I had SATA, prioritize and only 1 drug calculation which was multi-stepped. I had to do some conversions first. I really don't know what this means. A classmate of mine took hers a day after me and also had 1 drug calculation.
  22. Sometimes it depends on your planning and financial discipline. I know of an RN who lost her home in CA. It proves that earning a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean a good life. You have to be a good planner. I think it also depends on the amount of hours you work and amount of pay. Good luck!
  23. Pat yourself on the back because you deserve it!!!!!!!Congratulations. To those waiting like me, let's keep busy and keep our fingers crossed.
  24. Congratulations!!!! You deserve it. I have been following your posts and have found hope and courage.
