i really want to work as an RN there in the US, one is to help my family here in the Philippines and to experience nursing on it highest level, because there in the US you will be working with so much high technology gadgets, nurses around the world and doctors too..plus the patients from different nations, i know i am an instrument of God who will help those sick patients in everything i can do.. i know it will not be as easy or as quick as i like, only God know when but with the help of this forum i am getting a lot of ideas form you guys..i would want this year to take the exam, and of course to pass it on my first take..and what if i pass it,, can i still stay in the philippines because of the retrogression or i really need to go there before my nclex expires which is only i think for 3 years onlly..am i right..thanks for your quick reply..

im from the philippines and planning to take nclex, right now im processing my papers at cali.. i did not passed it yet to the BON because my concern is the financial thing.. $107 is not a joke, its a big money for me.. and my parents is a regular office workers.. i heard that credit card can be use, is it true? and how can i do it? in new mexico you can use credit card, but i don't know in cali.. please help me..

as you've said for example i've passed the nclex, and i did not go to the us for the next 3 or 5 years.is it ok? but how can i process the license that you are saying,? tnx

in this forum, most of us would like to go in the USA, but there are lots of procedures we need to follow. there are lots of requirements, and as i go along on the other forums it is posted that retrogression is not yet lifted. it really bothers my mind..pls help, especially those who are working there and who have worked there..

im inspired of what you have said..we nurses i believe has all the opportunities here and abroad it's just that we have to find for it and work very hard for it.. lets just help each other especially in this website.an d lets pray hard for our future..

if you like a low stress work it will be in the PACU, but ED is very nice to have an unforgettable experience. as a nurse you will have a chance to rotate on different areas which you did not like but you should be ready for any changes.. just follow aht you like and im sure you'll be happy with your choice..

what i love about nursing is that you have a chance of meeting different kinds of people not only your patients but your co-worker. nursing can teach you a lot of things which can help you to become a better person..one thins is very important to us is the tender loving care that we are rendering to our patient.

i have a unique story as you guys.. im a registered nurse in our country Philippines, im a fresh RN, i don't haVe plans to be a nurse, i wanted to be a pilot or a businessman. when i'm about to enter college my tita which is a nurse gave me an educational plan for my studies. so my parents decided for me to take up BSN, at first i really don't like it. til my second year, but God is really good because he let me love this profession. i realized tin my 3rd year that it was a very nice feeling to help other people.and also God is using me as his instrument in healing sick people. now i really love this profession i want to practice it until i can do so.. that is, hope you read my story, i summarize it already..

i do have my own gear as a nurse, i have my stethoscope and BP apparatus.. and i also have my first aid kit which is like a hollster, since im on a response team, it is included there the scissors, bandages, gauze pads, gloves, and many more..it is used in my field and also in cases of emergencies..
