  1. Oh god yes I agree!! The way I view it is if there are currently nurses...they went through nursing school...meaning the programs ARE do-able! It reminds me back when I took my anatomy course, how everyone said how hard it was and this and this...I personally loved it and made an A! Don't let anyone get you down...anything is achieveable!
  2. I just got accepted into my nursing program, but I took Anatomy in the Spring of 2006, I made an A in the course partly due to these outstanding websites...they cover EVERY ANGLE of any material in the lab...enjoy!!! http://academic.pg.cc.md.us/~aimholtz/AandP/AandPLinks/ANPlinks.html http://msjensen.education.umn.edu/webanatomy/ http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio201/skull/antskul.htm http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio201/cn/cranial.htm http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio202/cyberheart/anthrt.htm http://www.getbodysmart.com/ap/muscularsystem/menu/menu.html http://www.bio.psu.edu/people/faculty/strauss/anatomy/musc/muscular.htm http://www.bio.psu.edu/people/faculty/strauss/anatomy/nerv/nervous.htm http://www.neuropat.dote.hu/anatomy.htm http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio201/brain/brshpx.htm http://academic.scranton.edu/department/psych/sheep/newsheep/practice/welcome3.html
  3. I took summer courses at northlake last summer, and it was regular core classes and I was there for 2 hours a day monday through thursday. the reason why taking sciences during the summer isnt recommended, because for the regular class you will be there for 3 hours a day, plus typically another 3 hours for the lab..not to meantion being its accelerated you move through the material very quicky. so overall unless you have no other priorities or are incredibily smart, micro in the summer isnt the best idea.
  4. i am hoping to start the undergrad bsn program in july!

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew the starting or average salary of an RN in the DFW area?
  10. congrats!! I'm gunna be so nervous to open mine when it finally comes
  11. yeah the program I will be entering is an accelerated BSN program...haha im scared now
  12. Hahaha it all sounds VERY familar!! I can relate to basically all of that, especially number 11. Its funny because my bf and I used to go to alot of parties during the week nights, but I began to study so much and friends would ask so much where I was, rather than saying studying because its become so funny and rountine, hes now just like 'uhh shes busy!!'
  13. Thats awesome! the undergraduate bsn program (if i get in) begins in second summer in july, when does your begin? WRECK EM TECH!
  14. Hi! I will hopefully be starting nursing school in July, and I was wondering what exactly to expect. I saw on the schedule bulletin that for the summer term (my beginning term) courses will run MWF from 8-6, and Thursdays from 8-5. I was wondering if even though that seems overwhelming, how I can make it manageable? Also what the overall hardest part is of nursing school, or just personal experiences, thanks!
  15. 7 weeks? thats soooo much better than ours! I applied december 15th and wont know until april 16-20th!!
