  1. I did my MSN online and completed it this past summer, I am currently taking 2 classes and the work varies between the courses. Basically you will have one writing assignment each week, 1 seminars with the teacher and other students, one quiz, 3 discussion post (but this is not applicable for every course). To me it is very organized and there is a live orientation that you will take prior to starting school that will allow you to navigate the various platforms you will be using along with being able to ask questions. The information for each week is available once the class goes live, but you cannot submit any work early as it will not count. Prior to starting my classes i had my book so i began to read the chapter and review the rubric so that i knew what each teacher was looking for. Hope this helps
  2. I am currently an FNP post masters student at Kaplan, I have only been in classes a little over a month, but I can tell you there is a ton of reading and research. I have had several online seminars with teachers, test, quiz's and wanted to cry a time or two. But, this is what I really want and I believe, when you want something you will work your butt off to accomplish it. So I am super committed to conquering my fears and will complete this stage of my professional growth with my mind intact.
  3. sent you a message
  4. Please add me started October 19th, 4 days in a stressed out
  5. I started Kaplan FNP on October 19th and being that it has only been a couple of days I cannot give a full perspective of the school, but one thing I can say is that it is a lot of reading and the one quiz I have taken thus far was difficult. With that being said I am truly not disappointed as I have read many posts that down the curriculum, but first hand, I can say this is no diploma mill as you must have a study plan and be dedicated to learn the information or I can see how easy it is to get behind.
