  1. I'm a couple months in and trying to get out ASAP. Could've wrote this myself.
  2. Graduated: May 2014 Passed Nclex: June 2014 Job offer: September 2014 Accepted started October 2014
  3. 1) MI 2) $28/hr 3) ADN; New grad 4) SNF/LTCF
  4. Scores mean almost nothing. The question is do you feel ready based off the content that you learned? Are the rationales for right and wrong answering making sense to you? Can you apply what you learned? Can you critically think? Do you know what the questions are asking of you?
  5. 75 is the minimum of questions you must take in the NCLEX. it is absolutely possible to fail at 75 and pass at 75. it is absolutely possible to fail at 265 and pass at 265. People can also pass and fail anywhere between 75-265. The PVT is just that a trick. It is not a 100% accurate but it could and I mean could give you the results that you passed or failed. If your state participates in quick results then they would be available 48 hrs after finishing your exam or you could save your money and wait for your license to be posted. That's the only sure way to know you passed
  6. I was unsuccessful in my previous nursing program. I took a year or so and regrouped and took more pre-reqs got into another nursing school and graduated this April passed my Nclex on the first try this month. You gotta ask yourself do you see yourself doing anything else besides nursing if you can they do it if not then take this time to get your mind right. Regroup and evaluate why it is you were unsuccessful the last time so you will be if you try again. Goodluck to you.
  7. Don't take this the wrong way but many people have failed the NCLEX, you aren't the first and sure won't be the last. I make no presumptions that me or anyone on here know your life, but failing the nclex doesn't make you a failure or dumb. Get your CPR and look at it and really learn the categories you need to strengthen. Throwing in the towel and running away from the problem because you failed is not the answer. If you are truly doing this for your kids then your so close don't give up now. Good luck in your future endeavors.
  8. That is the good pop up. They took the board part out awhile ago. There are many and I mean many post with this same question posted on this board. The red letters are there because if your state participates in quick results they will be available 48 hrs after you finished your test.
  9. EmilyEmily they post the powerpoints but you have to print them. As far as what's required read this https://www.oaklandcc.edu/Nursing/Docs/NursingAdmissionGuide.pdf
