  1. I either want my NNP or PNP, and eventually MAYBE my CRNA, depends on if I like what I'm doing.
  2. I'm doing NNP...hopefully.
  3. I thought Calc was easier than trig and algebra LOL!!!!!!
  4. Our school doesn't care either way, if you have just put it in your bag while it records and don't make a big deal about it, and no one will care. Alot of people use their cell phones, so that is what the problem was.
  5. Do any of yall know anything about Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls Texas? They have a BSN program, but I haven't heard anything about it.
  6. I took A&P I this semester, and I was really worried because a lot of my friends said it was one of the hardest classes they ever took and that they, "worked their butts off for a D." So I was freaking, but if you study frequently, you will do fine, I got a 112 in my AP grade, thanks to lab, but an A is an A.
  7. I was wondering, if any of you have recorded lectures to help you learn...does it help, and if so do you have any suggestions of a good voice recorder I could purchase?
  8. Depends when you ask, last semester they were about 200, but next semester they are 250.00, but they have promised us a locked tuition rate, but I doubt that will happen.
  9. I have liked them all but Chemistry, but I enjoy chem just hated the teacher...spoke little to no English. 160.00 a credit...you're lucky!!!
  10. Chem was one of my 3 B's. Chemistry, Algebra, and Trigonometry
  11. I'll be in Micro, but I'm taking it in a minimester. I am also taking A&PII, Developmental Psychology, Archery, and Art Appreciation.
  12. Thank you!! Are there any PNP's out there??
  13. We ended on the CNS, PNS, and ANS. We pick up on the Endocrine system, my friend says its her favorite.
  14. I got my A&PI grades in, and kind of dissppointed, because even though I got an A overall, my lecture grade was an 88 and my lab grade 99 brought it up to a 94, but I would of liked and A in lecture
  15. Hey, I know I want my NP, but I am torn between the NNP and the PNP. I was wondering if some of you experience PNP's and NNP's could tell me a little of what your day is like.
  16. I'll be in the class as well!!!
  17. I took the ACS too, and it is the reason I got a B in there, but I also did over the summer and my head just about exploded. I believe I'll have all A's this semester ( API, Sociology, History 2, Government 2, and Walking), but I still have a B from Chem, and College Algebra which I took my first semester.
  18. Studying for my final wich is in 8 hours...but the eye is sooo boring LOL!!!!!!!!
  19. Yeah, I wish I could relax but I can't sleep cause I'm studying for finals.
  20. I hate my final schedule: Monday: A&P I 8:00 AM History since 1865 11:00 AM Wednesday: American Government: 8:00 AM Sociology: 11:00 AM
  21. Alot of my friends have told me I should write a book about studying habits, because I'm some what anal about studying, and I am a perfectionist to the tenth degree. So I'll offer some advice... 1.) Study when you are at the peak of your day. For me it is late at night, and that is the only time I study, because when I try to study when I really don't want to, I don't remember anything. 2.) Make sure there are NO distractions I have to study with my IPOD in my ears so no one can bug me, also I tend to study better in a CLEAN area, because I mess it up when I study with notes everywhere. 3.) This sounds odd, but study less, but more often. Break up your notes into sections, and study one section for about 30 minutes and ONLY that section. Quit go get a bite to eat something...come back review, and move on to your next area. I study in about 30 minute blocks 5-7 times a day. 4.) READ IT: Read your notes first...see what doesn't make sense, then go to the text book and only read what doesn't make sense. Don't waste your time on reading things that you understand already. 5.) SEE IT: Just a quick glance over my notes before I start a good study session helps me remember the main concepts. Also, this works for pictures and graphs when you are studying your notes look at images to reinforce the concept. 6.) HEAR IT: Read your notes ALOUD to yourself, sounds DUMB, but it really does work. Also, if you are really OCD about your grades like me...record it and play it in your sleep!!! 7.) WRITE IT: Before every test I re write all my notes, and it helps sooo much because when I take my tests I can actually visualize it word for word. 8.) PRAY!!! 9.) Don't cram. I always preach this to my friends as a visual. Picture cleaning a medicine cabinent and shooving everything in there quickly...when you open the cabinent its all mixed up not organized, just like your head when you cram something you might think you know it, but you can easily become confused. 10.) Find a friend and actually teach the material to each other. If you can teach the material you know it. **For Math Classes** When working problems only work a certain type take a break come back if you can still work the HARDEST problem of that type then I think you are good. For me the best thing is to not take all your notes at one time, it can be overwhelming, break up your notes get down one concept then add the next then add the next. TRUST ME IT WORKS!!! Hope this helps you some, PM me if you need any more advice.
  22. BEST NEWS TODAY!!!! I got a 104 on my lab final, and I still had 12 points bonus to add so I got a perfect score on the lab portion of my class, and even better news is since we take five tests, our teacher drops our lowest test grade, so he'll drop my 80, so I actually have over a 100 in A&P I, but boy has it been hard.
  23. 2 days of class and one final left!!! My lab final is tomorrow I currently have a 100+ in lab, hopefully I won't screw that up.
  24. In my A&PI lab we did: the cat (just deep and superficial muscles) ; the Sheep's brain, and a Cow's eye. The Cat and Cow were pretty easy cause most the muscles are kind of the same as humans, but I hated the Sheep's brain, because it was smaller, and we also had a real brain to look at and identify, but we didn't actually dissect it.
  25. I took A&PI this semester, and this was my schedule: A&P I Sociology History Since 1865 American Government Walking I have an A in them all, I try to do at least 2 of my pre nursing reqs.
