hi everyone! i'll be starting the gn icu internship at baylor hospital in june. i'm just wondering if anyone can give any info or advice about baylor's internships and what to expect in the classes and what sort of tests, check-offs i should prepare ...

i'm a new nurse and dread going to work... everytime i'm walking from the parking lot to the unit feels like a death sentence. i don't know when this feeling is going to go away... everyone in the unit seems nice, but everything just seems so unfami...

i think i'm quitting nursing.... for now. i think i just need a break from it. i'm such a disappointment. i just feel so bad to all the people that have invested in me... i'm so defeated right now.

thanks so much guys... yeah, i guess i just hate the feeling of being uncomfortable... i do have a great support system, my nursing friends and i do always talk about our experiences but i feel that they have adjusted to the nursing culture much bett...

hopeful16, so sorry that happened. just keep at it though. i know that it is hard, but please don't let one test defeat you. sometimes things happen for a reason.... it's ok to grieve about this. u're absolutely entitled to it, but don't dwell on ...

first off--- breathe.... close your eyes and just breathe in love and positive thoughts and breathe out all the negativity and all the stress.... do this x10. it sounds like u've prepared enough for this test so, just make sure ur nerves are in check...

hmmm.... interesting because i was the last person out of the testing center and everybody else was gone. there maybe some truth to this myth..ahhh the NCLEX conspiracy... anyhoo... what ur feeling is completely normal. i was in ur shoes exactly 2 ...

i graduated first week of may and went on vacation til the end of may... started my internship first week of june and took the boards june 27...n found out today i passed. :) i say it depends... we had to take an exit exam in order to get our bsn and...

took nclex yesterday and still waiting on results... scared to death....

sorry to hear that james... failing is painful. i've had a lot of failures in my life and i still struggle with them. it comes and goes, but what helps me is that I pray to God everyday for strength and guidance to accept the things I can't change......

i am feeling the same thing. took mine yesterday and had 265qs. so i am definitely in a far more worse situation. i am hopeful though and i just pray to God for courage and sanity.
