  2. congrats to both of you. may god bless you in your career.:w00t:
  3. to begin with i stepped out on faith. i took off 5 weeks. i don't want anyone to get the wrong ideal. i didn't study everyday. i would study at my dining room table. may an hour or maybe less. did some questions. watch tv or etc. later in the day maybe go back to the table. the reason for taking off work was so that i didn't get the real world confused with the nclex world. it was hard for me to study while working. everytime i would get into studying it would be time to go to work. so it was much easier not to think about work. i also fasted one day a week. towards my test date i would fast until noon. i prayed and prayed and begged the lord to allow me to pass this test. i started to get sick toward the end of my studying so i stopped. i asked the lord to show me what i needed to look at. the items that i looked over before my exam, where on my exam. before i started the tutorial i prayed. when my first question came up i prayed. when i was stuck i stopped and prayed. when i last looked at my screen i was on around question 66. i honestly can not say when the computer shut off. it was like a i was on cruise control and god was in control. i can not take credit for the work that god did. because truly it was god that allowed me to pass. nclex can come from anywhere. the materials i used were feuer's, kaplan q bank, and nursing made insanely easily. may god bless each and every test taker.:redpinkhe

  15. KANO, I know its hard not to lose you faith. I not trying to preach to you I just wanted to give you some words of wisdom. God has a plan for each and everyones life and its up to us to be faithful. You are probably saying how do you expect to me have faith? Please remember that he doesn't put more on us than we can bare. As soon as we get to the point of a breakthough we lose our faith. Keep believing that all things are possible.
  16. I Used Kaplan Mainly For The Q Bank. I Passed!!!!!

  19. I found out today that I passed Nclex rn. I would like to share my story with some who might be upset or uncertain. I took my test the first time in Sept. and failed with 75 questions. I couldn't believe it. I cried for a couple of hours. I had an excellent support system. I didn't wait to face my co-workers at first. When I got there everyone was like many nurses take it more than one time. Just because you have to take it more than one time doesn't mean that you are going to be a bad nurse. I didn't have the money to pay for the exam the second so I had to wait. Well my job kept worry me about a date so I just gave them a date so they would leave me alone. I finally decided that I was going to step out on faith and take off for a 1 month. So my last day of work was Nov. 17. I had one nurse tell me "You know you need your money". I responsed by telling her "You don't know who I know." I ended up going to church on sunday and the pastor told me that if I keep my focus on god that everything is going to be okay. Well at that time I was going thru some other things and totally forgot about nclex. But when I got home I realize what he said to me. I would fast one day a week. I would pray every day all day. Then I began to beg the lord to allow the holy spirit to lead me and give me the knowledge that I need. I studied using the Feuer's Audio CDs. I friend who had failed the first time too, took kaplan the second and passed so she passed on kaplan information. I can never say that I spent all day studing because I didn't. I would get at my dining room table and study for about 1 to 2 hrs or maybe less. I still talked to my friends on the phone. Went a couple of places to enjoy myself. The last four days before my test I started to get sick any time I would pick up any information. I went into the test center prayed up. I was prepared to stay the entire 6 hours. When I sat in front of the computer I prayed again. I prayed on every question. I thank god for his mercy and grace because without him it wouldn't be possible. I just wanted to share my story with someone who low on faith and needed an uplifting. May God Bless each and everyone.
  20. glory to god. victory is mine. i passed nclex rn.:balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons::balloons: this has truly been an experienced. i failed the first time with 75q. i took off for 35 days. no i didn't study everyday all day. i had got to the point that i was getting sick on my stomach anytime i would look at any information. took the test again on wednesday. the last time i look at the screen i was on q60 then the screen was blank but i could still see the next and calculation so i thought the computer was just trying the generate another question then the survey came up. it shocked the mess out of me. when i got to my car i cried and prayed all in one. it was only the grace of god that i was able to pass on my second time. i give him all the glory, honor, and praise. to all the test takers stay encouraged and don't give up. you have to have some faith in the lord. good luck to all.

  24. I will be taking Nclex rn next week. I told off work for about 35 days to study. I have been studying using Kaplan Complete, Feuers review, and saunders cd. Some days I feel like I am ready then oher days I feel that I am not ready. I am retaining the information and sometimes it seems like I am forgetting things. I was just wondering if this is a normal feeling. I am trying to relax and not think about it. Any words of wisdom? Thanks in advance...
  25. katnip08 and summerbummer21 good luck tommorrow. take you time and understand what each question is asking. may god be with you.
