  1. Do not dout yourself my friend ! I failed three times and spent thousands for all kind of materials. Take this review class: www.nclex-tutorial.com . They actually care for their clients and put them in the right direction. Once I took this class I saw it was all wrong how I prepared and I made it after another four weeks preping. Good Luck ! No way you won't pass !
  2. Hi mimi 75 ! I share exactly your experience ! I spent 2000 Dollars on Review Materials and failed three times. It is simply nonsense to go through "systems" to learn how to "analyze or "trick" the exam. What helped me pass was www.nclex-tutorial.com . It is a live review of the complete curriculum of the NCLEX - RN by building complexes that combine all relevant subjects on a sophisticated level. You also get very good study materials and a 6 week or 3 month learning plan. The full progam was only 330 Dollars last year. Some courses have a 100 % pass rate. The thing is that Dr. K is a provider for continuing nusing and medical education. So his stuff is up to date. It is focussing on content review and and training of the question style. That makes you confident because you actually know things. I spent so much money on other programs that teach you how to guess right. None of the questions is "real" so it is like gambling if you pepare by questions only. I know exactly how you feel but DONT ! Do not give up on this. It woks just fine once you find the right approach. All the best and good luck ! Keep the faith and God bless you!
  3. Hey Ivy, I did what you did and failed tree times. I saw that you are from california so have a look here www.nclex-tutorial.com They pushed me right through it. Good Luck !
  4. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? 106 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? Dr. Karrenberg's nclex tutorial and review class www.nclex-tutorial.com 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? Yes, but I do not want to go into this again.... 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? 9 weeks (typical california) 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? I felt better than the two times before. At first I did questions only but I was just guessing everything knowing nothing. The review gave me structure and confidence. 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? No, the 3rd.
  5. I failed three times. I almost lost it. I had no structure in my studying, nothing. Those exercise questions just make you belief. I did a full week live review with www.nclex-tutorial.com and I made it. Everybody can do it. It is just so much information out there that the graduates are overwhelmed. A lot of the studying tools are just making somebody rich but nothing else. I saw about 50 % of my friends fail although some had straight A's in College.
  6. I made up to 90 % in Kaplans preparation exams and failed twice ! When I took www.nclex-tutorial.com I got to know why and I passed. So glad that nightmare is over. If you have your test on June 29, why do you study now ? This is almost 7 month to go. Way too long. This is tiring and making you miserable. Start 3 month ahead of time and it will be ok. But I am not sure about Kaplan. Sometimes I think this site is owned by them because the majority here is frantically praising it. Good Luck !
  7. Thank you. I am from Whittier but I start working in West Hollywood so I will move. I would not have done it your way. I think all these books are just a waste. I am so glad I made it.
  8. Yes, www.nclex-tutorial.com is straightforward, affordable, provides great study materials and make you pass absolutebeginner. I could have saved 2000 Dollars and a lot of my nerves if I would have used them right away.
  9. After retaking the NCLEX-RN three times I finally made it !!! This thing got a lot harder. I spent at least 2000 Dollars for Books, Cards, Q-Bank etc. For me it did not work without a tutor. For anyone in California and the Southwest I can recommend www.nclex-tutorial.com live review classes. Affordable, not crowded ( 26 students in my class), great study materials, straightforward, facts, facts, facts. All the fine details you are not aware of over and over again in exactly the same way the NCLEX is asking the questions. Good Luck, whatever it takes !
