  1. how I wish, I can feel the same...i just started my training in a pediatric ward here in our country...it was my first day of exposure in a hospital as well, and I was overwhelmed by the number of patients, the regular staff was only three composed of 1 senior nurse, one nurse staff, one nursing aid, and the three of us trainees, which are all first timers. the patients are 53. i feel like giving up, but i really would want to learn and be of help to those patients, mostly poor children.
  2. hi everyone...congratulations LIEU for obtaining a job at PHC. i've dream of working in one of the prestigious hospitals in our country because of the comprehensive training and experience that i can gain from them to become a good nurse and a competent one. i would like to ask what were their requirements at PHC...do they accept second coursers, do they require experience from other hospitals? i hope you will have time to reply too our querries. thanks and goodluck in your work at PHC.
  3. hi everyone...congrats LIEU for landing a job at PHC. i've always dream of being a part of a prestigious hospital here in our country, most specially because of the comprehensive training and experience that we will gain to become a competent nurse. i would also want to know their requirements. do they have age limit, is it required that you have work experience from other hospitals to be considered? do they accept second coursers??? thanks, i hope you can spare some of your time in answering our queries...

  5. hi everyone...most of the posts here discourage nurses from applying thru an agency because of not so good experiences...thus i would like to ask if somebody would tell about their experiences in applying directly to an employer. thanks.
  6. hello tagamargos...will you be kind enough to share their website if you still remeber it? as i would like to check if they are still processing applications for nursing...im also here in cebu right now. thanks so much.
  7. hi there, i personally can say that st. louis review center is a good review center with regards to NLE based on my experience with them. they have lots of practice tests to be more familiar with the actual exams. their fees are also minimal and affordable. but its still your choice, as some of the replies, whats important is how you perform in the actual exam. goodluck.
  8. hello there...what i did was, i requested for application forms thru their website and they sent it to me, i as able to receive it after 3weeks. though i have not submitted yet my application. you can also apply online which i think is very much easier as long as you have a credit card. hope this helps. :wink2:

  16. hi there asyana, i'm also from the philippines and i would really love to work and hopefully live in texas too, most specifically in dallas, austin or houston....i passed my local board exam last december and still struggling to review for the cgfns, ielts, and nclex....i would like to ask, where did you took your nclex exam and how did you apply for the nclex? hey, there's a lot of job opening in texas but not exactly to the places you mentioned that you wanted to, but you can start from those who are hiring.... or maybe try to apply on those places near to what you prefer. dont be dampen, you should be rejoicing by now....just focus on the thought that you are already an US-RN nurse...
