hi fairydust, i was actually hired last mar when the canadian eployers set off to phils to hire huge number of nurses. fortunately i was lucky one to pass both the exam and interview. how about you? are you already in PA?

hi oobie from what i heard coming from a nurse who also got her visa bound for SK, its a doc with written names in an A4 size paper. actually it comes together with your visa that was sent by MCE. its similar to your LMO with names of nurses emplyed for specific health region. i am just trying to figure out if all nurses with approved visas also received this kind of doc whether for AB or SK. i hope others can share too!:typing

hi! when i get there, during my initial 4 mos of stay I, together with my colleagues were granted a free accom. certainly i can save from that chances. after that i can probably rent an apartment but that all depends in the situation.. where in the phils have you been? i am from the northern part. have you visited our finest beaches here like boracay, palawan, bohol and so forth. hahaha! its good that you experience a jeepney ride, its great when you just want to roam around and save your pennies from huge sum petrol prices. how about tricycle? have you tried it? by the way, the town i am assigned to work is in spiritwood. are you familiar with this spot? thanks again and best of regards!

hi sue, thanks so much for the bountiful info that you shared. it seems for me that ill be working with the land where the staffs of national geographic channel usually hang around to hit their job in research!!! lol! anyhow, im a bit anxius and curious of what kind of life awaits me there. can my husband easily find a job here coz he's inclined in manufacturing business and i wonder if factories in Spiritwood, PA do exists. sorry but no offense to other readers. its just that i learned how the ratio of land area to people living in this place and i found out that it was spacious with a bunches of land to fill. what's the popular job in PA? IT im in doubt but perhaps agriculture is more indemand right??? thanks again and best of regards!!

its good to know that you have been here to Phils for a couple of times. i am proud to say that Filipinos are very hospital and warm people.!!! but i guess life in overseas will definitely sweep our feet off most esp in dealing with diverse culture countries like canada. hope everything will turn out smoothly as i commence the adjustment phase of my new life and career. to be precise, in my contract it states that ill be working in spiritwood, PA. are you familiar with this place. as i browsed on the net previously, i learned that this is a rural place that deals more with agricultural stuffs like wheats and grains. people here are far more less than PA city. what can you say about the safety and working condition here? are they in recession?

I have no either relatives or friends there and so your shared information will be very much appreciated. these might help me come prepared with regards to the the necessary adjustments that i need to undertake. okay thanks for the info but isn't quite dangerous to apply for such at this time since they aren't registered in POEA yet...i mean just for security purposes on our side so as not for us to be exploited..anyway, did they also mentioned how long does NM state processes petition for nurses because as far as we all know they aren't as popular as CA, NY, or FL?again, goodluck to you and God Bless!!

hi everyone!!im just curious to ask, as we all know NM process application in just a matter of month or 2..they've got my cert of eligibility, TOR and RLE but still doesn't approve it..im also about to send them the fingerprint cards and application form..my prob is i'm still not confident enough with the review materials i have read..i feel like i still need more time in studying..guys, if ever they emailed me saying that i can now register with pearson view..is it okay to just postponed it for a month just for me to have more time in focusing in nclex review??i mean a month of postponment before calling pearsonvue...what u think guys??pls help..anyone here who has same situation like me..kindly share info pls..thanks

Hi guyz im a foreign nursing grad from philippines. I am planning to take nursing licensure in new mexico. i already have the application form but i got a few questions and its under the examination payment form which is, they are asking for my SS# but i dont have one. is it ok to leave it blank instead? also for the examination fees, i know my foreign transcript needs to be evaluated but theres this option in which i am confused of which applies to my situation and these are: (i am a foreign grad who is just applying for licensure by examination) __RN $110.00 __LPN $110.00 __Foreign transcript eval $ 50.00(please include in the same payment with application fee __Foreign Transcript eval only (if not applying for exam) lastly, is it ok to apply for NM licensure exam without local board here in Phils coz in their instructions they are just asking for the transcript of records sent by school registrar to BON of NM. thanks so much and more power.
