  1. I’m shocked at how many people on a nursing forum are ignorant about Adderall. As a stimulant it is highly unlikely to make one drowsy or impaired. Adderall is a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, two central nervous stimulants that improve focus and reduce impulsivity by increasing dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain. I have ADHD and have taken it for years. I’m also shocked that it took 6 months to get a blood alcohol result. I can get one in no time from the hospital lab. Something fishy is going on in that PD and I hope she’s able to sue the PD and the daycare for damages and distress. Had she even started driving. From what I read, popo was there before she had a chance to start driving.
  2. Absolutely not!!! I'm not a citizen but I've been paying taxes as a legal resident RN here for 26 years. You need to remember that unless you're a full blooded Native American, you're the descendant of immigrants. That is simply ludicrous.
  3. I just finished up the great assignment at Swedish Cherry Hill. I would love to go back there sometime. It was very traveler friendly and I felt very appreciated. Only had to float occasionally.
  4. rotating shifts is one reason i won't move back to canada. it seems that just about everywhere there requires rotation and this body can't do it. i did rotation as a new grad when i still lived back there. it is not worth the health risk. i used to work straight nights here in the us. the significant night shift differential was worth it. now i am on straight 12 hour days, but sometimes have considered going back to nights for the money. working nights may not be as healthful as days but it is significantly more healthful than changing it up every week or 2.
