  1. On a Psych unit a break is a foreign word as most of us have no idea what that is......:chuckle
  2. not in the least and i would go back and do it all over again
  3. Working on Psych Units it's bound to happen but the facility where i worked also made sure we were trained in several techniques as well as verbal judo in an effort to help keep physical attacks from happening.....but there were the days those techniques failed to work depending on the pt and the crisis they were in

    The facility I worked at didnt allow weapons on any of the units unless there was an extreme emergency. The Hospital Police do carry guns but leave them locked away when coming onto a unit to do a walk thru or bring a pt to the unit. its a wise safety precaution on the forensics units we have there.
