Hey did you ever get the answer to this? my essay is between 3500 and 4000 and it lets me submit it but I don't want to go over 3500 if that is the limit they are asking for. Thanks!

I think they will take the latest on your transcript, but I am not sure. You should send an email to admissions.

Although it is obviously better to have volunteer experiences I think as long as you have meaningful experiences in other aspects, work, hobbies, etc, and you can connect those to nursing I think you should be fine.

I also took bio 230 at Athabasca, there are no pre-reqs and it is entirely self-paced and online which is really convenient!

Thank you for your advice this is really helpful to me. I didn't do well on my supplemental app last year but I think I have some solid things to talk about, I just need to change the way I write about them. I'll focus on that this year.

How long did it end up taking for athabasca to send over your transcripts?

It says to "Describe how this contributed to your life and/or interest in becoming a nurse" but in only 50 words I feel like I can only just explain what the experience was or what I did in that role. Not enough words to do that and then connect it to nursing. Is this incorrect? Thanks so much!!

Even though they have been taken after completing my degree? I haven't be able to find the answer to this and UBC hasn't responded to my emails.
