  1. A lot of people say don't do it as it is a risky choice. However, I say just be careful and if you need the extra cash, don't show your face.
  2. Thanks for sharing your experience! Really informative
  3. This is really detailed and informative. Your post is giving me an idea on what I should expect in my program I start this fall. Thanks for sharing.
  4. My school required the general stats course meaning I had to take college algebra before I could take that class. But every school is different. You should talk to an advisor so they can let you know which class will satisfy the requirements.
  5. I'm hoping to go to central
  6. Hi there! Are we allowed to take notes using a laptop or tablet?
  7. Hello. I was wondering if the plan is to have all points updated by this week then does that mean we'll be notified of admission or rejection soon? I'm not asking to be a bother, I just wanted to have an idea because I've been offered two work positions. One offer is more flexible and I would take that one if I do get accepted, and the other is a full-time commitment. Thanks for reading!
  8. So I was reading back and I saw that if we do get in, the registration for your classes can fill up in just about 15 minutes(at central anyway)? I just want to know/confirm that we will be told ahead of time for the registration period?
  9. There's an email on the nursing admissions site. I keep trying to contact my advisor because the application says I need an advisors signature but he hasn't gotten back to me.
  10. I would recommend checking with your employers about any programs that they have. This applies if you work in a hospital. Many hospitals have programs where if you let them know you're in school for your nursing degree, they will help you pay some of the costs of your program as long as you agree to work for them for a set amount of time. Usually about 2 or 3 years minimum.
  11. Hey guys! I'm also applying for the fall semester at Central Campus. Hopefully we all get in! Because of the covid closures I was forced to take my HESI Test last minute and I'm super anxious trying to make the deadline. I was looking around because everyone I know is still doing prerequisites and no one actually knows what to expect from the program. I'm glad I kept searching and found these forums. It's giving me a better idea of what to expect when/if I get into the program. Wishing you all luck! Does anyone know how long it will take after the deadline to receive our acceptance/rejection notifications?
