  1. @studentnurse2018 WOW!! Your state is quick. I didn’t show up in the bon until a week later in NY
  2. Thanks so much! I used the entire Q-Bank of UWorld (went over it multiple times). I thoroughly read the rationales and made sure I understood them. I also used the NCLEX Saunders book. I read it throughout nursing school, so all I did this time around was redo all of the questions and re-read the rationales. I also reviewed my lab values. It helped so much! I went into the test confident and finished in a little over an hour. You can do this! Don't second guess yourself. You know the information. Stick with the answer you originally choose.
  3. Hi, I took my NCLEX PN May 27. It shut down on me at 60 questions. I did the Pearson Vue Trick and got the "good pop up". 48 hours later I paid for my quick results and I found out that I passed. Good luck I hope you pass your NCLEX RN this time around! I studied so much that I had no anxiety during testing (which is different for me because I am a highly anxious person).
  4. Thanks! I used the UWorld website and NCLEX pn Saunders book. UWorld May be a bit pricey for some but it is worth it. It’s what helped me do so well throughout nursing school.
  5. I recently took the NCLEX PN test on May 27 and found out I passed yesterday. I haven't started working as a LPN. When I do, I'll update you and let you know the answer to your question. I am sure the difference is huge being that the job tasks are entirely different.
  6. I saw plenty of dates available. There were many RNs and PNs there to test.
  7. That is odd. I wonder what testing site they are going to. I took my test Wed.
  8. Thanks, I am an LPN now. I am already looking into LPN to RN bridge programs to go into.
  9. Sorry to hear that you did not pass. I paid for my quick results this morning and I passed! I am so relieved. If you need anyone to talk to then feel free to message me. I would be so happy to share with you what helped me pass
  10. @Cassie Boatwright I got the same pop up. I want to feel stoked but man would I feel like a fool if I open up my quick results and I fail. I’ll celebrate tomorrow if I pass. All that “good pop up” message does it relieve a bit of anxiety but it’s not a clear indicator of passing. Nothing is 100 percent
  11. Thank you! Good luck once again! I hope your determination finally paid off! ill let you know if I passed when I see my results tomorrow.
  12. WOW!, your test sounded a bit more difficult than mine. I will pray for you! Do they have quick results available in Cali? I studied 100 questions a day using UWorld. In addition I did 30 questions a day using Saunders book. I thoroughly studied the rationales. I made charts with all of my lab numbers and memorized those and went over medications and side effects. What did you use to study?
  13. I had approximately 7 or 8 SATA, No drag and drop questions, No audio or picture questions, No med math, Mostly multiple choice, approximately 5 medication questions.
  14. I am in NY. I am going to ease my mind and pay for the quick results which will be available tomorrow. I tried the Pearson Vue trick, it’s not 100 percent accurate (as I hear) but it eased my anxiety somewhat. I stopped at 60 questions in a little over an hour. How about u?
  15. Hey LOL. We are in the same boat. I took mine yesterday and still awaiting my results.
  16. I took my test today for the NCLEX pn. This is my first time taking it. If you failed, you’ll just have to keep practicing. I studied mostly UWorld and Saunders book. I did over 100 practice questions a day and thoroughly read the rationales. I would go back and constantly review the bank. When I ran out of questions with both Saunders and UWorld I looked for more practice questions to do on different sites. In my opinion there’s no such thing as too many questions. Good luck! I hope you passed!
  17. Congratulations PN!! Indeed.com is a fantastic site for job searching.
  18. Did you ever receive your results? This was posted almost two months ago. Wish I saw this earlier
  19. You were taking pre-reqs. Someone that is has to have a very high GPA and test to get into the nursing program. Your anatomy 1 grade was very low. That is enough to get you disqualified. I would ask if I can retake it for a better grade. Some programs are so strict that they leave no exceptions and won’t allow that.
  20. It depends on which state you are living in. I am from NY. My April test was cancelled. I was able to get an appointment in May. They cancelled all of April.
  21. Hi, I am a recent graduate of LPN school ( February 2020. ) The LPN program in general is crammed with a lot of material in a short period of time and constant studying. If you're having doubts about not doing well before you've already started the program, you have to question yourself and ask "Is this really for me?". The nursing program is difficult in general and needs 100 percent dedication. If you're looking for tips, one of the biggest tips I can give you is: Self doubt will always deter you. Believe in yourself! Order books now and practice nursing questions ahead of time: NCLEX PN Saunders Book is one of the many sources that will help you throughout the entire program. And yes, it's also good to make friends at the beginning in the program (as long as they aren't a distraction). They are who can help to provide study tips and extra sources to you.
  22. Hi, I happen to be from Ny. My test is May 27. I see many earlier dates (within the past week) have opened up. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
  23. Congratulations!! I am so happy for you!
  24. Your test date seems to not be cancelled. I would call to confirm my test date isn’t.
