Hey not at all! On UBC GPA scale I was 3.8, I volunteered at a senior care home for a year but nothing other than was medical related. I got waitlisted for UBC too but at BCIT my number on my list was closer to being accepted so I wouldn’t say BCIT is more competitive. Feel free to DM if you have any other questions! Good luck ?

I found out in the beginning of July that I’ve been moved into the top 10 for September but have a guarantee seat for January if I don’t get in for Sept! But I’ll be taking my name out of the waitlist since I accepted my offer at UBC so there should be another spot open soon!

Hey guys! I just got accepted!! Only thing is I didn’t get a letter? I got an email saying your program change request has been approved (even tho I’m graduating from UBC this sem) and then my ssc says congratulations! I just hope it’s not a mistake cause I didn’t get a letter ? I was AL-34 btw!

Congrats!! How long did they give you to get all your post-admission requirements in? And did you get admitted in the morning?

I’m finishing up my undergrad this term so I’m hoping to get a job with that and then IDK ? apply again maybe. I got waitlisted at BCIT too. But that sounds like a good plan! It may help boost GPA as well if needed. I wonder if anyone heard anything todayyyy been so anxious

It seems like they’ve been sending out offers on Mondays and Friday’s last little bit! So fingers crosseddd tomorrow ?

OMG thanks for this!! I got an email at like 418 but was refreshing for hours after that cause I didn’t know this hahhaha waitlisted as well! I’m guessing the waitlist is up to at least 50? Or hopefully less?

I got waitlisted this year in the 30's and it says on the email that they don't do updates.. which is nerve wracking. And if someone can share their latest number that got in please!! Thank you!

Hey I'm on the waitlist too! Hang in there - hope we get in. I'm a bit confused, I got A-31 on waitlist but I scored 1 on Casper and 2 on the rest so I thought I'd be closer to you in number! I guess this shows that the admissions process is reaaally confusing and to just try your best cause god knows how they do this ?. Good luck!!

Hey guys! Congrats to those than got in! I was rejected last year too - #3 on Casper and grades but 1 in supplemental. I got into my second choice at UBC and I'm completing my degree this Summer. This year I got #1 in casper and 2 in grades and supplemental..weird progress. I'm on #34 on the waitlist.. weird place to be, don't know if I should take it as rejection or not. But good luck to everyone in the waitlist and those that got rejected, sometimes its a blessing in disguise! Hey! check the first paragraph of the email, it should say A- something if you got waitlisted.
