  1. Thanks for this video!! Congratulations on passing the exam!!
  2. Congratulations on passing!! Go out there and be a great nurse!
  3. Practice questions over and over because you will start to notice patterns but like the first responder above, most of my classmates didn’t start NCLEX prep until almost the end of senior year! Granted, we did have a HESI exit exam that we needed to pass in order to graduate so we focused on that more
  4. I am using Uworld and reading the rationales really helps in retaining info because some questions do get repetitive in terms of topic. Also suggest taking notes and if something stands out as a topic that you keep struggling on, I would take some time to watch some videos/read up on it further ?
  5. Great post because it gives some hope! Taking the NCLEX next month and hoping for the best ?
  6. It really all depends on where you plan to work as well as the unit you try to get in to. I’m in florida now and I know some peers who graduated last year who are still in the process of looking for a job. Important thing is not to give up and also to be realistic.
  7. Apply broadly and take advantage of nurse residency programs! It’s super competitive out there especially for new grads
  8. I did night shifts for my rotations and I found it really helpful to wake up super early the day of your night shift, doing something you like during the day and try to take a little nap around noon then wake up for your night shift feeling refreshed and ready to go!
  9. You could try looking at FAU? If you don’t mind a commute, I would look into schools at Broward County as well
  10. You could try looking at other schools like Polk State? Really hoping you get into USF though!
  11. Congrats on passing!!!!
  12. I just graduated this spring from the program and as far as I know, the only place to get the proper scrubs are through the bookstore ? I suggest going early if you can because sizes do run out!
  13. Congrats to everyone who got in!!!!
  14. Hi! I was wondering how your experience is so far at OHSU?
