Break up during school
It's real. My ex used to get upset if I stayed long in the restroom. It takes take me awhile to do #2. TMI. I used to tell him "I have a secret door to places in our bathrooms." He even got jealous of my own sister. I hid for a year from him because of death threats. Evidently, he had a few physical fights with his neighbors after our break up. He went after wrong guys who were his friends. He didn't believe me that his friends were innocents and none of them tried to get in my pants. Well, he was a nutjob, jealousy man. I wasn't sleeping around and was impossible to go out alone. I'm glad I left or dead by now. I could be on Dateline.

Michigan hospital sued after honoring woman's request for "white nurse only"
I don't know where to put my finger on this. Some black patients refused black caregivers. Some white patients refused black caregivers. Some Filipinos refused Filipino caregivers. Some white females refused male caregivers. And the list goes on. But this incident wasn't a frequent occurrence. I had one refusal (from a Hispanic patient) because I looked like a high school student. Told my nurse I was a nina.

Michigan hospital sued after honoring woman's request for "white nurse only"
If a patient declines my care, I would celebrate it. One down, move on to the next one. My mother-in-law has that kind of attitude. I told her she needs to be prepared because there are not many white CNAs/caregivers in our demographic area and white nurses, yes, there are many of them. And I said, "I'll find a white caregiver. Your son!"

You can be correct in your observation with those women you knew/know. Behaviors of people like cheating on their spouses aren't something I worry about. I'm not micromanaging people unless it's part of my responsibility. Your fixation on the behavior of women is an indication of a stagnant lifestyle. Go out and volunteer. Use your skills. Or think all day long how bad women are because I do care what you think of me or other women. I've seen it all from people who act or think like you. Come back in five years or ten years here. Tell us how perfect your life is.

Vaccination Rate for Flu vaccine
I wish I have a laboratory to test their flu vaccines. In my whole life, I had one flu. Lol. Everyone in my circle got it or wear masks.

Paid Report Time
Where I worked as a CNA, I was required to take breaks. However, the patients' ratio to CNA was awful, so I missed a lot of breaks and without pay. I moved on. It won't happen next time. I learned a valuable lesson.

High School Nurses how do you....
I'm not a nurse, but I don't like it when my child fails a class because of something that needs to be addressed. My child's illness happened during a science class. It was fixed when I stepped and asked the principal, social worker, and a nurse to discourage my child's behavior right in front of my teen's face. And quit bugging me for something they could do. I was a pain in the neck. Since then, she has been a rolling A/B student. She visited a nurse when she needed it for real. No malingering at a nurse clinic.

Pay
My husband was unemployed for three months to refuse a low pay. We lived off on our savings. He would make about $50,000 if he accepted it. Three months later, he found an employer who was generous and paid him $98,000 annually with excellent health insurance and paid vacations. We didn't spend $38,000 in three months while he was unemployed.

How far in advance do you get your class/clinical schedule?
Seven weeks prior to clinical days, but it could change anytime. I wouldn't stress it.

Break up during school
Insecurity. In the back of his mind, he wants a wife who makes a good living, kiss his anal whether he mistreats her or not and does whatever he pleases without a consequence. This kind of man doesn't need a wife with a functional head, but many holes all over her body. He might as well get a robotic wife who just take his command. Leave the women alone to the real men. I don't know many women who would put up with the kind of a man. Even my own in-laws told me to push back.

He was so good at making me looked like a crazy girl.

Foreign Nurse with BS willing to work as a LPN
I don't know the answer to your questions, but I can share with you that you should contact the Board of Nursing in a state where you (will) live, or your preferred state. You will have a better outcome for your inquiry. Disclaimer: don't take my opinion seriously. I'm just guessing according to being an experienced student transferred trillions of credits from different colleges/universities to where I'm currently at.

Can you be more specific?

Break up during school
It means his 40-55 hours weekly work isn't enough to keep his mind busy. Nobody is a threat to our relationship but his behavior.

Break up during school
I'm sorry to confuse you. With my husband, I don't have a child/children with him( but he has children from a previous marriage.) My ex bf is long gone. I communicate with him for the sake of my daughter. Thank you so much for your advice.

Break up during school
I suggest "don't give up a semester of your nursing." Push yourself to do things. If you matter to him, he wouldn't hurt you. Grieve and cry. Scream in the pillow or bite it. I can tell you my story. I established my own business and purchased a franchise. I gave up my future for a man when I was 23 years old. And I gave birth to our daughter. To cut a long story short, I gave up everything and be there for him at all times. He supported our family, but I needed to prove him everything constantly that he was the only man I worshipped and loved. Nothing was going to make him satisfied. One year later from closing my business, we broke up and winded up in the court system for a custody battle. It dried my bank account and broke financially but won. The only part I've never regret and grateful for, I was there for my daughter and took her with me. Now, I'm facing a similar situation. My husband has mixed feelings about my nursing education. He has been acting out the day I was accepted. Now, it doesn't look good. I do get affected emotionally which is a nuisance in my concentration. I struggle to retain data I learned. I don't want to prove a man anymore. This time, it's a man's turn to prove to me I'm valuable in his life. It's painful. Do breathing exercise. It does help. :) Good luck!

Break up during school
We're in the same dilemma. We can't quit. Our men will take everything they have with them, and we will be homeless. Think about this at all time. It does help me.

Break up during school
I take a student loan. Married 14 years. I'm trying to help him, but he is taking it in the wrong way that I will leave him when I'm done with school. I took my calendars off the wall and desk because he would stir **** prior to my exams. If he keeps it up, I'll make a hard choice. I don't need someone to give me a bad day. Do I deserve someone who make my life hell? I do date him (3 to 4 times a week). We have no children. He is suspicious of my extracurricular activities. He would ask where or who I have been with.

Break up during school
He would tell me he is supportive of me and blah blah, but he does something opposite in his actions. I'm getting through this nightmare, too. I scored in 70s out of 100 on my midterm exam. I couldn't focus, but I've been trying to do things to keep me floating. I don't know what to do except sticking in the nursing program. My husband isn't making life easier for me. I'll do my best and try to focus in my nursing classes. I'm glad he has been showing his true colors in my early life in the program. I'm adjusting while living on the edge. I don't want to give up nursing even though it breaks my heart to think I will lose him.

Young, Thin, and Cute New Hires
I'm looking forward to that peaceful life. I get creepy guys here and there when I'm not at work, too. Lol.

Young, Thin, and Cute New Hires
"When I was first hired I was young, cute and thin. Then nursing took a toll on me." I look younger than my actual age is because of being cute and thin. When they found out I've been working to get into the nursing program, they all wished for me to be accepted, and others prayed for me. Now, I'm in the program. Funny! They want me to catch up with them!
